So far, I'm liking this case. It seems to offer a moderate amount of protection (I would feel ok with dropping this from shoulder height occasionally). The design seems pretty straight forward, although oner of there speaker holes is wider than it needs to be (the case is symmetrical, but the microphone isn't as wide as the speaker on the XS Max). Also, the lip on the back of the case is somewhat of a two edged sword. The raised lip (pictured) does protect the camera or back of the iPhone from ever laying flat on the ground, BUT I also noticed that when I felt the phone in my pocket, I couldn't notice which side was the front or the back before pulling it out (the raised lip is the same height on the front and the back). So it's good, but a little annoying. Also, this case is extremely tight on the iPhone. There is absolutely no way the phone would ever "accidentally" slip out of the case. This is a good thing, but also makes it a little tricky when trying to put the phone into the case or taking out. It takes "coaxing" to get it in our out.
