I believe this is the new updated version from Jetech since the previous one was a disaster I guess. To begin with, I used Jetech products many times before since the iPad Air 2 to iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen and 2nd gen, and they were all perfect. The price was cheap compare to the other cases but the feel is premium, and the design is minimalist and simple, which is exactly what I was looking for. When the third gen iPad came out, I was so excited to get this. After 1-3 day of reading Amazon reviews, I hesitated and stopped there. Most of the comments were about the case is not perfectly fit, especially at the top right and left corner of the iPad, and also not compatible with Apple Pencil 2nd. So the case I'm using right now is actually the new version of it, which supports Apple Pencil (it has a cutout enough for the pencil) and fits better. By better I mean the top and right corners problem is still there for me. It's not really noticeable at first sight, but it's better than the pictures I saw from the previous version which makes the iPad pops out of the corners. One more problem is the magnet on my case is kinda weak compare to the previous cases I got from Jetech and it keeps falling off whenever I hold up the iPad. On the other hand, I really love the look of it, still simple, elegant and minimalist, glad that I gave it a second chance. But unfortunately, as much as I love Jetech products, I can't give them 5 stars for this one until they completely fix the problems above. Either no magnet on the cover or very weak. This means my iPad collapses the fold when it is folded into a triangle stand and it doesn't stay closed when carrying it around and it flops around when you carry it when opened too. Also mostly hard plastic so I don't think this will protect the device if I drop it. They could fix a lot of this with an elastic strap if they don't want to use good magnets. ... show more
