These are fantastic drumsticks for drum set play! I use a variety of sticks for different purposes. These synthetic sticks are the best so far in drum set play-FOR ME. They are light, strong, and easy to hold in different positions. A player can hold them way back and keep good control. If needed, one can choke up on the stick to play drums or cymbals in the set that are very close. It's very easy to change one's grip of these sticks without letting go. I see these wave design synthetic sticks as an improvement over traditional wooden sticks in certain important roles such as drum set. That being said, there remains a strong place for wood sticks in a variety of roles such as Drum Corps. In the final analysis, as a drummer, you need to decide if these synthetic sticks serve some of your needs. For me, I am very happy with them as discussed. And I reserve the use of heavy wooden Drum Corps sticks in various forms of percussion; and in the use of wooden handled mallets in others. To the manufacturer: I salute you on your unique synthetic WAVE design. It begins a new era in drumming. The durability, combined with the WAVE grip throughout the main body of the stick makes for a near perfect drum set implement. Please keep producing these sticks! And please keep the prices reasonable: you now list for six pair at approximately $20 US. Bravo!

These are some type of nylon/plastic or whatever. They are not Carbon Fiber as advertised. That bro said (and it's a pretty big deal) these are unbeatable for $3.33 a pair. The shape gives these a really good grip if your hands sweat.

Don't even consider buying these sticks... they ARE NOT CARBIN FIBER!! THEY ARE JUST HARD PLASTIC. Don't waist your money. I didn't expect them to be solid carbon fiber for this price.... but at least wrap them... smfh complete bait and switch. This company should be banned from selling on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter.

They do produce a different sound as compared to traditional wood drumsticks, but they are light, and easy to use. The shaping of the shaft is useful in the creation of a kind of scraping sound to accompany the drumbeat.

Bought some. Broke one. Cheap. But way better than breaking $16.00 stick. Awesome for practice. If you break; buy more. Same thing will happen on the woods but save those for shows I bought more 10 bucks for three pairs. If you break stick because you suck and don’t have good technique but hit hard. Get them!!!
