I love my Jergens Natural Glow Self Tanner Body Lotion! I prefer the Fair to Medium option as I have 'Casper' pale skin. (Truly--I asked a family member if I was looking 'that' pale. Ugh: His answer? He said when I stepped outside in shorts my legs lit up the night sky. Ok, and so, I remembered my go-to to fix it.) What I love about Jergens Natural Glow Self Tanner is that the results are the prettiest golden shade, not orange, not an artificial bronze tone, which wouldn't be believable on my pale tones. It's that kind of golden tone one gets from a bit of summer sunshine. It's not a good idea to bake in the sun, or use dangerous tanning beds. I am not a youngster these days, far from it. I will not risk melanoma for the sake of vanity. And so I love using my Jergens to get a bit of gold on my skin. I have a very pale skin tone, so pale family members comment on it. Trust me--it's not a compliment. Jergens has a light, cheery fragrance, and isn't greasy or headache inducing. The fragrance is light and doesn't clash with your regular scent of choice. *You will want to wash hands after application, as your palms with also tan if not cleansed. Results last a while and the tan builds with repeated applications. Massage with caution for best results to get a believable glow. Since hosiery is long out of style, ladies who opt to wear dresses or skirts in warmer climates might want to give this a try if you chose to go without hose or tights. This product works really well, it was streaky the first day or two that I applied it but that was likely user error (I never use tanning lotion). The scent is very mild, and pleasantly perfumy when applied, but it does give off a slight self tanner scent when dried. I think if you were to apply this before bed it would be gone by morning. If you are really sensitive to self tanning lotion smell I wouldn't recommend this product. My skin doesn't tan, it only changes from a reflective white to a warm-undertoned white in the summer. I bought this before a tropical vacation in the winter, and it does deepeny color but not in a way that felt unnatural or unachievable (I don't like changing my skin color by multiple shades). ... show more

I like having a little color on my white legs during shorts season and this self tanner by far works the best to moisturize and give me just enough natural looking tan! I apply it for 2-3 days in a row, then keep it up with every other day applications. It dries quickly and the scent is mild.

works well. Best to apply right after showering. Reason being pores are open and will absorb into skin better. If you try to apply without showering you will end up with visable lines. There's a tint so you have to keep that in mind.

I used it regularly, once a day, twice every other day, nothing changed! But its still good lotion for your skin. If you're fair skinned I'd get the darker choice, the lighter one didn't tan but was still used to moisturize.

This works great. Just rub it on evenly, wash your hands, in between fingers and nails, and you will have color. If you turn orange at first, continue to use daily and after several days the orange or streaks will be gone. I love it. This particular one is a darker color.
