What can you say for a stereo for under 100 bucks?? Not much to brag about, but I've had this for a few months in a used car I bought that had no stereo at all. I also replaced the 4 stock speakers with decent mid grade 6.5" and dash mounted 1.5" tweets. With all that bs said, it reminds me of a glorified stock stereo. It has more punch, but won't win any awards, but I got to admit for the price it delivers good, decent and honest sound. Now as for the deck, it's very straightforward, basic and simple. There's def no bells and whistles(diff light choice ect.) But for the price you get a good solid interface that's very easy to understand and use in a few minutes and it's very straightforward on Bluetooth connections and everything. The touch screen is responsive and the size was perfect for my dash. All in all I am very impressed with it and it's performance and sound.     • I am happy now. 2007 Ford F150 XLT Regular Cab, 4.6L engine
I never knew that shopping for a double DIN stereo for my 2007 Ford F150 would be so difficult. To make a long story short, I am very happy with this unit. The Truck is my second vehicle and it's over 15 years old now so I did not want to spend a ton of money. My factory unit stopped playing CDs which I used to listen only to MP3 music. So, what I really needed was an MP3 player for my truck. I cannot tolerate broadcast radio advertising. Nevertheless, this radio seems fine. There is a quarter inch gap between the bottom of the unit and my dash cover and I don't like that but after being so frustrated with all of this, I was every happy when I put a USB in the front of the unit, and it instantly played and sounded great! It even showed song information and allowed me easily skip songs. The equalizer worked fine. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for
To be honest, four stars feels like a reach for this product, but based on price and expectations, I think it's fair. I was looking for a budget double DIN unit that would support a backup camera and hands-free communication for a new driver in our house. This checks the boxes and was easy to install with the separately ordered wire harness adapter and mounting plate. For anyone that's experienced a higher quality, manufacturer installed head unit, this will probably disappoint. The touch screen is imprecise, even when recalibrated. Its FM tuner is significantly weaker than the stock radio's was. It doesn't support Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS), which shows you station/song identification info. The build quality lacks a sturdiness and some of the physical buttons are poorly designed/placed along the limited outer bezel. BUT, it gets the job done in terms of the basics. The backup camera (sold separately) connection was plug and play and worked as expected. Hands free communication works (albeit, microphone quality is so-so). While I didn't expect smartphone navigation to display on-screen--and Jensen doesn't do a good job of explaining exactly what the Navigation button is supposed to do--I assume, working in conjunction with the mediocre J-Link app, it theoretically opens your default map app on your smartphone. This doesn't work on my Google Pixel 4 and the app itself, which can also act as a controller for the unit, crashes periodically.     • Good Unit at a Low Price
This unit is good for the price but has a few issues. This is my second purchase of this unit and I have had to return one during the warranty period (display quit responding). The vendors were excellent and responded quickly. It has only bass and treble adjustment for tone plus several built-in modes. It also has a loudness feature. This makes it a bit more difficult to get the sound you want but with some tweaks, most will be satisfied. I have one in a van and it sounds great. I put one in a convertible with new three-way speakers and have yet to get the sound I want. Obviously, two different environments. This unit probably does not have the power to work well in a convertible because of the open air and road noise. I may have to upgrade to a higher power unit in the future for the convertible. ... show more

I wish it showed the information music while on Bluetooth and plugged in directly, but other than that it's a good unit.

    • Works great, no power , needs small amp
I installed this in a truck with 4- 6.5 inch speakers. It plays fine and functions good, but the power is very weak and has no punch at all. I think the RMS is more like 3-5 watts RMS I will be adding a small amp in the future

    • It is a Okay radio
There is no information in the Quick Start Guide about having to purchase additional "Wiring Interface". Which I had to do. To make the Reverse Camera work. That was an additional $50.00. There is nothing in the Quick Start Guide about how to change the preset channels. I had to call Jensen customer support to get that information. It is Double Din size but you will have to purchase a Double Din Dash Kit to fit your vehicle. That is additional $12.00 cost as well. I am not a audiophile so the radio plays talk radio for me. That is all I need. I just did not like having to spend additional $62.00. ... show more

    • Gets the job done
I have had this unit for about a month now. For the price, you can't go wrong. I bought it with the understanding that it is a cheap unit. Like other reviewers, the unit quits streaming about midway through any song. Works great on the aux cord. I have also heard electrical noise coming through the speakers. The quick fix was to run a separate ground from the chassis and not use the ground in the dash harness. I also added a 10.00 camera picture is great. if you are buying this thinking you're getting the equivalent to a 300.00- 400.00 stereo sorry. Any stereo that does not have a CD player or preamp hookups is a basic unit. You should buy this unit if you're going to sell your car very soon, don,t give a rip about your car and just need something or drive a beater. ... show more
