I’ve been let down lately, ordering what was advertised and even labeled as cotton from China but knowing good and well it’s polyester. You can’t fake cotton. I mean you can try but WE KNOW. Not THIS one! This is 100% cotton! No doubt about it! I got the burnt orange rust color in a California King and it fits my California king duvet perfectly. This has 6 ties, at least, it might have two more that I missed in my excited haste to get this on my bed. The ties are high quality, as is the stitching. I appreciated the extra sewn in buttons for just in case. I washed this with Ms Myers gentle detergent on gentle, and tumble dried it inside out and it washed great. Inserting my duvet is now easy that I’ve watched YouTube videos with the duvet hack. Especially since mine are so big. I was able to do the inside out burrito roll trick without even asking my hubby to assist. So if you haven’t yet, I highly suggest you check the videos out. I’m laying under this as I type and I can tell I’m not going to wake up sweating 237 times tonight because I’m sleeping under polyester. I mean, who wants to sleep under plastic anyway? Thickness: it’s as thick as a high thread count cotton sheet. I’m using a thinner down duvet insert and I’m In love. I don’t want a thick duvet, with the insert it would just be way too hot for me. Please know what you’re buying. This is a duvet cover. Not a comforter. I don’t understand why people look at a picture, don’t read what they are buying and then leave a bad review. It’s not the items fault, it’s buyer error. If you want a comforter go buy one. This is a duvet cover. And it’s a fabulous one and I have zero regrets! Worth every penny!

It seems harder than ever to find a good quality duvet in 100 percent cotton that is made well and comes in a good range of colors. This color is really beautiful and I was very happy with the feel and construction of the fabric for the price. The cotton content was what I was looking for, and the quality of the cotton seemed good as well. Held up well in the washer/dryer. Much easier to wash in a dorm laundry room than a full comforter.

It is attractive but scratchy cotton. The blue & white stripe is a great pattern. I washed the duvet cover a few times, but the cotton is not getting softer. I bought a brown & white stripe version of the same item a few years ago & the fabric was thicker & softer. It seems a good value, however— and looks good.

My comforter is a few inches longer than this queen duvet cover, so when I buttoned the bottom, the comforter was slightly squashed in, and didn't lay flat at the foot of the bed. Before I washed it, I measured the length at 93" and width at 90". After I washed it, even stretching the fabric, the length measured 89" and the width 86"! I don't know how they took that photo, where the duvet goes down to the floor at the base of the bed; mine only has about 2" hanging down! I also found the fabric always looked wrinkled; when I first got it, after it was on the bed a couple of weeks, and after I washed it. Even laying it out on the floor and stretching the fabric, it still looks wrinkled.
