Updated It was easy to put together. Self explanatory. I think it’s definitely worth the money for the home shop use I will get out of it. The box was in bad shape when it arrived and I expected several missing parts. There was a bag of engine mount bolts missing. That’s ok though I guess. I’m not sure the swivel casters will last very long because I found a bearing inside the box as well. Time will tell. And the engine cover bag was not in the box either. Somewhat satisfied. Kinda disappointed. Casters will likely fail, bolts missing and engine cover missing. 2 of those actually added to the appeal of buying this item. I was contacted by Jegs after writing this review. I was informed that the engine cover and bolt kit were in a separate package and would arrive in a few days. The parts did arrive the day after hearing from them. They also asked a few questions about the damaged caster. After answering their questions, they sent me a new caster to replace one that did not turn. They must have rush shipped it because it showed up very quickly. Definitely great customer service and a great product for the money!

Ordered this for the good reviews and to try a new stand. This arrived very quickly. The box was a bit beat up, but well packaged, so no damage. It's pretty simple to assemble, even without the instructions. The parts are a heavier gauge steel than other engine stands I own, and holds my SBF easily. Two things I find odd - 1. When you insert the middle beam into the vertical column using the bolt, the beam has no hole in it. the bolt only provides tension to keep the beam from slipping out. Not sure how well that will work when moving an engine. I'm probably going to drill a hold in the beam to give the bold something to center on. 2. The handle only has a grip on one end. There isn't a second. So one hand gets a grip, the other hand gets bare metal. That seems odd to me. I will probably see if I can get another grip for a couple bucks. I ordered two of these and they are identical, so I assume this is the way they are supposed to be. The stand is plenty sturdy and the drip tray, engine bags and bolts are nice. Just be aware of the 2 things listed above.

Bought one of these a year ago and everything was perfect. Re-order the same product current time and the build quality and QC is so bad it is unsafe to put an engine on.

Well built and easy to assemble. Came in three parcels, the stand, the drip pan, and the cover with bolts. The tardiness of the third package containing the cover and bolts was a disappointment as I had to buy bolts to get the motor mounted. When the bolts and cover finally did arrive, the kit was incomplete anyway. Last... no toolbox sticker. Great product regardless.
