Been going through all the different brands but these have been my favorite so far. Great smoke flavor. Burns clean. The box is a bit gimmicky and can be better. Will be buying more but not on Amazon...price is much better elsewhere.

    • Great Pellets but they burn fast
First off to say I love these pellets, they maintain temp very well and ash is kept to a minimum in my Pitt Boss. The flavor profile of these pellets is great they just seem to burn rather quickly in my opinion.

    • Product is very good but box breaks during shipping
Smoke flavor is very good. No issues with my pellet smoker. Used on a brisket and the family loves it. Only negative is the box breaks during shipping and I have to immediately pour everything into a bucket with a lid. Move to a new box/packaging and I'll change to 5 star review.

I’ve heard great things about this product. And they didn’t disappoint. But the packaging was a train wreck. Not only did Amazon do their usual small box in a giant box but the pellets were everywhere. The structural integrity of the Jax pellet box is garbage. Glue is nonexistent. One strip of made in China clear tape. I get it, Hermosa Beach CA, you’re trying to save the planet. Do me a favor and fire your packaging engineer. ... show more

I have a Traeger Ironwood 885 and a Big Green Egg at the house. For the last year jealous devil has been my go to lump charcoal. It is always consistent, large chunk, and a clean flavorful burn. When I saw their pellet offering I knew that I needed to give it a try. Just like their other products, it did not disappoint. Very little dust. Clean burn. Great flavor. I will definitely be using them again! (Oh yeah, the box is great for storage. I also like their charcoal because the bag is pretty water resistant and great for camping).
