What the heck kind of title is that you might ask??? I have latest Apple Air Pods Pro... and it hard to compare yet I cheerfully have both. I constantly fret about losing my Apple buds with the charge down so I cant find them. It takes all the fun out of it for me. ALSO the Apple don't have the base that I really like. I didn't want to get the JBL cheapest nor did I want to get the several hundred dollar version either. I have to compromise.. so .. HOPEFULLY this is helpful to someone on the fence like I was. 1) JBL never feel secure in my ear and in trying to get them secure I inadvertently reset or constantly cycle them. However.. Once in my ear.. and seated.. they are nice.. stay put and don't have that look I detest about my Aplle ones.. I got the BLACK JBL TUNE BUDS 2 and they sort of dont stand out. I hate the look that my ears always have a "Runny Nose" look.. the dangling white thing hanging down.. I really appreciate JBL black. 2) I have a very hard time figuring out how much charge is in my JBL Tune Buds. I only have battery clues that are in the 3 white lights on the front of the case. Fine... but I am never sure what charge is where and if buds are charged totally etc. HOWEVER.. the JBL last through the night for me. Apple seldom makes it ever so I have to use only one Apple bud at a time. I really like the immersion of 2 buds to help sleep. AND>>> the JBL seem to last, for me, about twice as long as the Apple ones. Still.. I never know what condition my c ondition is in HOWEVER.. if I get in a pinch.. I can drop back to 1 bud and go on forever with the JBL. 3) The range .. for me.. is less for the JBL than the Apple HOWEVER.. the JBL really are worth the slight drop in distance due to the lovely lovely BASS.. I love Bass. That would make it hard for me to ditch or ghost the JBL. I have 4 sets of buds.. A couple free sent for evaluation... however none stand up the quality of Apple Or JBL. My evaluation free ones were in the $100 range so I feel the comparison is valid. In conclusion... If you don't want that apple signature drippy white thing hanging down from your ear and you like a GOOOOD Bass thump and a REASONABLY fair price ... I think this is the one f or you. The lack of a good battery is still an issue but nor a deal breaker. It is made up for by insanely fast charge and long battery life.... Truly hope this helps a fence straddler.. Cheers ... show more

Fitting the earbuds is a challenge and will be a pain in the ass to fit properly. The JBL app is essential to getting the sound and functions set correctly. I turned off everything “touch/tap” for the earbuds because as you fit them you’ll end up muting or changing music and it does become annoying. Sound quality and battery life is great but compared to AirPods they suck. If you have an IPhone just spent the extra $$ and get AirPods. For “cheap” work earbuds the JBL’s are great. I had zero problems with the Bluetooth connectivity and with the JBL app update your earbuds before you start using them. After I updated the sound quality drastically improved! Would I buy them again? No, I’ll just spend the $$$ and get AirPod Pros. ... show more

This product is very poorly designed. The white case scuffs and takes paint off anything else around it, so after a week it's all smudged and disgusting looking after being in a pocket with anything else. Could I look past that? I guess. But the headphones don't work well. The earbuds refuse to go to sleep even when placed back into the case. When using a single earbud, the case and other earbud makes an insanely high pitched whistle. I had to install the JBL app and turn off ambient sound, which I never turned on myself. Then, the next day, by itself, it turned it back on by itself and started making a high pitched whistle again! More than 50% of the time when you pull an earbud out of the case to use it, it does nothing. You have to put it back into the case over and over to "wake it up". I had the tune buds, and this product is a massive downgrade. I can't even return it because the case is so insanely scuffed by being in a pocket with chapstick. I am no longer a JBL customer. This product is going into the garbage where it belongs. ... show more

I lost my more expensive ones (also JBL), so this time I went I little more reasonable. They work fine. It took a little getting used to used to them. The sound isn’t as dynamic or wide ranged as the $139.00 earbuds, bur certainly more than adequate for daily listening.
