    • JBL Tune 660NC
Color: Black
The JBL Tune 660NC is a powerful pair of wireless on-ear headphones designed to cater to music enthusiasts and avid travelers. Offering an exceptional audio experience with active noise cancellation, these headphones aim to deliver comfort, convenience, and immersive sound. This review'll explore the key features, performance, and overall value of the JBL Tune 660NC. Design and Comfort: The JBL Tune 660NC features a sleek, modern design with sturdy construction that exudes durability. The on-ear design allows for a snug fit, while the plush memory foam ear cups provide excellent comfort during extended listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a customizable fit for users with varying head sizes. However, some users might find on-ear headphones less comfortable for extended use than over-ear alternatives. Audio Quality: JBL is renowned for its audio prowess, and the Tune 660NC lives up to the brand's reputation. The headphones boast 40mm, dynamic drivers, delivering rich and clear sound across the entire frequency range. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and the midrange and treble frequencies are well-balanced. The sound signature leans slightly towards bass-heavy, catering to modern music preferences, but it doesn't compromise on other aspects of audio quality. Audiophiles seeking a more neutral sound might find this a drawback, but the audio performance is impressive for most users. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The active noise cancellation on the Tune 660NC is a standout feature. It effectively blocks out ambient noise, which is ideal for noisy environments like public transportation or bustling streets. The ANC feature helps listeners fully immerse themselves in their music without distractions. Some high-frequency sounds might not be entirely canceled, but the ANC performance is commendable for headphones in this price range. Battery Life and Connectivity: The Tune 660NC offers a competitive battery life, providing up to 40 hours of playback with ANC turned off and around 20 hours with ANC enabled. The Quick Charging feature provides a few hours of playback with a short charging session. The headphones support Bluetooth 5.0 for stable wireless connectivity and easy pairing with compatible devices. Controls and Additional Features: Intuitive touch controls on the right ear cup allow users to easily manage calls, adjust volume, skip tracks, and activate the voice assistant. Including a built-in microphone ensures clear call quality, even in noisy surroundings. Verdict: The JBL Tune 660NC is a solid choice for wireless on-ear headphones with active noise cancellation. The headphones' powerful sound, impressive ANC capabilities, and comfortable design make them an excellent companion for daily commutes, travel, or casual home listening. While purists might desire a more neutral sound signature, the overall audio experience offered by the Tune 660NC will likely please most listeners. For its competitive price, the JBL Tune 660NC presents a compelling package of features and performance that sets it apart in the mid-range wireless headphone market. ... show more

    • 9/14/24 update below. I Use them multiple times a day 7 days a week.
Color: Black
Update: The battery run time is excellent. They have stayed the same since I bought them. They are the best Bluetooth I have ever bought. The Bluetooth switches between iPad and laptop with such ease. There is no agitation in getting them to connect. I have thrown some away for different reasons. They never hurt my ears from the pressure. But don't think you can bounce around with them. They will move. If the headset is tight, your ears start to hurt, but they don't slide around. These are looser, and I wear them for hours, so they are perfect for how I use them. Excellent product. Connectivity is excellent. I jump back and forth between my Macbook and iPad. I don't battle trying to connect like many other devices I own on Bluetooth. The pressure on the head is just right. I wear them for long durations, so my ears do not hurt. Sound quality is everything I want. Battery life is good. So they are not going dead in the middle of something. I would repurchase it, no questions asked. ... show more

    • Pretty good but...
Color: Black
Pics are accurate so I won't upload more. Just used it round trip long flights from US west coast to SE Asia and def like the compact size, sound quality, and long lasting and quick recharge. I also like that there's a separate button to turn on the noise cancelling feature by itself, without having to also turn on the headphones/use it to play music/sound. The only drawback is that, maybe due to its compact size, the noise cancellation function doesn't seem great/huge noise reduction during the flight - perhaps the foam ear pads are a bit small to really overlap/cover my ears to keep out the noise. Overall, 3.5-4* noise cancellation headphones. ... show more

    • I love these headphones!
Color: Black
I have adhd, and after a long week at work, i like to relax by listening to nuerodivergent music. I love the full range audio. I also like the active noise canceling when i hop on the lawn mower. Put these on and im off in my own world doing my own thing. The ear muff part is very soft and supple and forms nicely to my head, even with my beard and big ears. The padded head strap is comfortable. Battery last a good while, not sure how long as i havent timed it. It was easy to pair to my phone and i like the blutooth controls on it. I can leave my phone in my pocket and control my music directly from the headphones. They are much heavier than the old corded headphones of the 80s and 90s, but they are about on par with the bose corded headset i used to wear at the racerrack. ... show more
