If you need a heavy duty punch, this may not be for you, but for normal home need it's perfect. Sharp. Clean holes.Light weight. Collects paper holes for easy disposal. And, contrary to other reviews, DOES have a paper guide, although it's small it's there if you look for it.

This is as expected and works well, it was not cheaply made for the price which was nice. It has the back rubber holder to hold the hole garbage you can empty after use and comes with 2 small plastic pieces to hold closed, I recommend keeping these once you remove if you plan on keeping stored in the closed position. ... show more

    • It is indeed a 3 hole punch made of metal
And it is capable of punching 3 holes into sheets of paper but it arrived unassembled and in 4 pieces with no assembly direction. Connecting the top to the base was neither obvious nor overly difficult and the 2 plastic clips were supposed to prevent this situation from happening and can be tossed after assembly.     • Wasted my money.
This did not last through the first use, even though I made sure that I did not try to put too many sheets of paper in, at the same time. Update--I was able to fix the hole puncher. Now I can give it a better review, because when not broken, it works great.

    • Showed up not put together
So I wish I'd have taken a picture of this when it came out of the box. Pretty sure I got one that had been returned as the box appeared to have been opened previously. Anyway, I pulled it out and it was in 2 pieces. Thinking that it needed to be this way to fit in the box, I expected instructions. Nope. Then I thought it might be broken. So glad for people who post video reviews bc I was able to look at a couple of them and see how it should be put together. Took me about 5 or so minutes to figure it out... which it wasn't rocket science but still. Anyway, it works and for the flash sale price plus an additional 5% off, certainly worth it for what I need! I do recommend, but if you receive it and its not put together, just work with it and look at videos and pics. ... show more
