I loved the portability of this unit, but the sound quality was not good, my 50 watt loud-box fishman is louder and has better sound quality with the microphone than this JBL Professional EON208P Portable All-in-One 2-way PA System with 8-Channel Mixer and Bluetooh, I have 3 good microphones two sure microphones and a peavy microphone I tried all my microphones and had to max the volume and with the volume maxed out My acoustic electric guitar was set at one quarter the volume and the guitar itself was set low less than half the volume and my guitar was over four or five times the volume of the microphones sadly I really wanted to like this unit but no way I could live with this unbalanced unit and like I said my 50 watt fishman is far better than this 300 watt unit so I have asked for a refund and packed it up and sent it off the next day JBL is a great name and maybe I just got a bad unit but it is what it is and I will look elsewhere for a better unit. ... show more

1. Product description not clear if this is a manual bivolt, automatic bivolt or if different units are 100 or 220V. Only after buying I discovered it was the last option and that I got a 110V, not my preference. 2. Volume button is too sensitive, even small turns will make big differences, making volume changes on the go difficult to make. 3. There is no treble and bass controls for auxiliary RCA input channel, so no specific adjustments possible for this channel 4. NOW THE REALLY SERIOUS AND OUTRAGEOUS THING: My unit stoped working approximately nine months after purchase here at amazon. Contacted warranty services online and was poorly attended, being put in a long circle of "write to a different email, enter another site" cycle, till being informed warranty only valid in US and since I am in Brazil there was nothing they would do. But it got even worse: I went to an authorized Harman repair service in São Paulo (brasivox.com.br) where I was informed there is just one non-functional digital component on the circuit which might be replace easily and without costs. However, Harman does not work with this model in Brazil, does not import the malfunctioning component and refuses to give them the circuit scheme so they can get the malfunctioning piece code for me to try and buy a new one in USA. In other words, simply because I am in another country, Harman refuses to repair within the warranty and even prohibits me to even buy the malfunctioning piece abroad. Total nonsense, frustrating experience, poor quality product, worst professional repair service. Will neve buy Harman/JBL again in my life. ... show more

Got this product in time and had to send it to Liberia. When arrived we played it for about two hours without issues. We re-boxed it. After several weeks and trying to get to my entertainment, plugged it in the power, no noise, no sound, does not come and just silently dead. I am stuck with it. When I bought these speakers it arrived as a open box item with some cables missing. After contacting Amazon I informed them and was told it cant be returned. Seems it came as is from JBL. As I continued to use them they started giving me issues at high volume with bluetooth connection. They dont work very well if you re trying to use it with music at high volume. Seems they are not meant to be used for music but only PA. I have bad speakers now which cannot be used. In-spite of calling JBL they are not backing up their product anymore. I would not recommend these to anyone. There are other speakers cheaper than these one which work very well. Never buy these. ... show more

My wife ordered this for her school musical. First night works fine. We turn the switch off. Come back for night 2. About 50 of the 150 people are already getting seated. It’s 40 minutes until musical start. Flip the switch. Nothing. We try plugs. We try new cords. We look to see if there is an accessible fuse (there isn’t) Luckily an audience member sees us panicking and speeds home to get us a powered speaker and we find a mixing board. Music and mics get working 5 minutes before musical start. No thanks to this jbl crap. So disappointed. It worked for a whole night. (Medium volume) ... show more

I have played music for a long time. From punk houses to theatres. We got this guy for our wedding and it worked great. It's light weight and simple to install. Comes with 1/4" cables as well. We didn't use the mic as had some wireless ones but everything was crystal clear clarity. Bluetooth was easy to set up. Playback of music was easy to dial in. Got really loud. I got this on a sale for $600 I believe on here. It was totally worth that much money. We've used it a few times since when entertaining folks. It's really easy to set up.
