I ordered these running shoes.....not for running but for everyday wear and working out at Planet Fitness. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, great looking and affords great support while weight lifting. I'm very glad I ordered them when I did, because they (Amazon) quickly depleted the stock and I have not seen them available since. On Ebay they are listed as $139, as opposed to $65 when I purchased them on Amazon. Asics running shoes in general are incredible running shoes to begin with and the prices offered by Amazon, they are even better. The fit is exceptional, great toe box, well made, and the support in the heel and midfoot provides a long lift span. I haven't ordered anyother type of running shoe for well over 10-15 years.

My last two shoes were ASICS Gel-Venture 6 and Gel-Venture 8, and I was satisfied with the style, comfort, and durability of those shoes. After getting my Gel-Venture 10 shoes recently, I'm just as satisfied. The quality is as expected, which I think is absolutely great for the price. One small negative, in my opinion, is the feathered-arrows accents on the sides of the soles aren't quite my favorite design, but it's not enough to change my rating. I think a lot of shoe brands are lazy with their designs, and it shows. I don't care if some store's shoes are cheaper than this when they also look terrible and can't stand up to daily use. Thanks ASICS for another good design at a fair price.

Five stars from me. I walk an average of 6 miles a day, on concrete. The Asics Gel-Venture have been my shoe of choice, and happy they have a 4E width. I also wear New Balance extra wide casually, but the Asics are less clunky and allow me better control with my walking when it comes to picking up the pace. For me, they fit like a glove and the toe box is good enough for me. They are lighter too. My purchase arrived intact. I like the fact that I received the purchase invoice from the seller "Shoe Sensation", with a handwritten thank you and a quality assurance checklist showing inspection date, inspected by, and employee # - before they shipped them. Nice touch. I purchased the lighter color and will have to keep 'em clean for appearances. I usually by the darker colors, but hey, I have to compete with my walking partner!.

Been buying Asics for a couple years as my casual shoes. I like the brand. This pair I purchased in my normal size 12 men's but they felt short like I got a mismarked pair. I don't pay attention to the type of sneaks I buy, just whichever one looks good at the moment. These are runners. Maybe they are shorter for some reason, but that doesn't seem like a smart idea. Who knows? Still like the brand, afraid to purchase any more though! One star off for the inconsistent sizing.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes, same color, my first pair has a grease stain on them that I cannot remove. I currently have four pairs of Asics shoes of various colors. Love the feel of the shoes on my feet as I walk, run or whatever.

My husband is extremely particular about shoe fit, especially since he’s had knee surgery and the wrong fit can cause pain. We have purchased and returned/ tried on many popular brands, but the moment he tried these on, he was genuinely excited about the comfort and support. This might be the shoe for someone else but not for me. I run in asics shoes 4 days per week and expect a certain type of shoe. These shoes are rated as trail shoes but I don't think I could run in them. Out of the box they are very rigid and I was unable to flex the forefoot. When I run I land on the heel and push off the toes. This style requires bending of the shoe at the metatarsal area (ball of the foot). These are too stiff for me. Also these are trail shoes but the soles have holes in the outsole of the front of the shoe. Perfect for gathering stones and thorns into the midsole. Trail shoes need tough soles to combat the stones and twigs on the trail. Putting holes in the sole defeats the purpose. I will stay with my Asics GT-2000.

I normally wear a size 13 US in ASICS, but these felt more like a 12 US. I had to return the first pair and reorder a size up, and even then they still fit a little snug compared to other ASICS I’ve owned. Once the new pair arrived, they were fine overall, but definitely be aware that these run smaller than usual. I feel like the UK sizes are actually the US sizes… see photos I had to order another pair to get it right.
