Description

The JBL GTO series speakers are the perfect upgrade to your existing speakers. They are designed with a carbon-injected cone material to accurately reproduce music the way the artist originally intended. The three-ohm voice coils allow the speaker to operate at an efficient 4 ohms once they are being powered, allowing them to utilize every watt of power your head-unit or 4ohm stable amplifier can produce. These speakers feature a vented magnet with a high thermal-capable voice coil which effectively dissipates heat, ensuring the longevity of your investment.     • Great sound, great price!
I installed these in my 2017 f150. The sound is far superior to the wimpy factory speakers. Ended up buying the same brand in 6x9 for the front doors also. Amazing difference in quality.

    • Installed in my 2023 Bolt EUV rear doors.
The stock system on my Bolt EUV was "ok", but the paper cones in the stock speakers distorted very easily with any amount of volume / bass. Installed these in the rear doors, and the sound was quite improved. Also installed a set of GTO609C's in the front doors. I found very quickly that the stock amplifier was NOT able to properly drive these speakers. I've since installed an AudioControl D-6.1200 and these speakers have REALLY come to life! I'm using outputs 1/2 and 3/4 for the front and rear speakers, and output 5 for a 10" JBL sub I've owned forever (more than 15 years). The difference in audio quality from stock to this new setup is night and day. I'd have zero issues in purchasing these components again. ... show more

    • Very very good bass response
Ok… i read most of the reviews and some said bass was weak. Not in my case. Running dmx907 head unit and 750w Sony explode amp. Now… if you set your crossovers correctly these speakers handle bass real nice. I have them set at hpf 60 slope at 12. These things crank if you set your amp and head unit correctly. It takes a little time fine tuning, but well worth it. I originally had jbl clubs but decided to put an amp in and they didn’t have enough by bass for me. I normally listen to metal and hard rock and sometimes Cypress Hill… these speakers handle bass just fine, even at loud volumes. Don’t know how they sound without being amplified, so if you want maximum performance they need to have an amp. Don’t listen to the reviews about weak bass… just learn how to fine tune your head unit, amp and crossover…. Hope this helps. I will be buying another set for my rear doors.. ... show more

Just purchased this set for my 2023 Kia Forte hooked to the stock unit, don’t wanna mess my new car with amplifiers or things like that and OMG, the difference is amazing. Please give your speakers couple month of use and you’ll feel the real change, great response, crisp, clear and a really decent bass, of course it’s not a subwoofer but for a 6.5 Inch speakers I think the bass is pretty decent, my side mirrors vibrate at low volume.
