As a former Best Buy employee I trusted JBL’s quality of product, but love all my Apple products. This went on sale for $24.95 and it seemed hard to pass up, at worst, I could return it. I received it maybe 30 minutes ago, just powered it on, and am extremely impressed with the sound quality and clarity, the bass, and ability to fill a room/home. Compared to my soundbar, multi size Bluetooth speakers, computers, tvs, etc, this device is honestly incredible for the cost and size. I cannot believe how much sound this little speaker packs. I've experienced the JBL Flip and that's what got me paying attention to JBL's portable speakers. That thing sounds so good. I wanted to be able to have an even MORE portable solution for sound. Something that would fit really easily into my work bag. I can't play music very loud in the office, but I wanted something better than my laptop speakers. This is MORE THAN solving that issue. I feel like this thing has no business being this small and sounding this good. It's rich, clean, and has enough bass to make any music or video sound great. I use it all the time. I never get it out and think aw man this is all the better my sound quality is going to be? Darn. I think, oh heck yeah I get to use this little guy again! When I have to stay in a hotel, I connect my laptop's bluetooth to it and watch movies. It really enhances the experience. I will completely forget that this great audio is coming from a tiny little bluetooth speaker. I get fixed on the media I am enjoying. Charing and pairing is really easy. I don't even know how long the battery lasts. I've never had it die. I know it can't go forever, but boy does it seem like it can go a real long time! I bought the boombox when it was nearly half off on prime day and now that I've tried 3 different models I have come to a strange conclusion. They get more impressive the smaller they get. There isn't much sacrifice for spending less and going smaller. But, the bigger you go the less I feel impressed. I turn on the big boombox and think oh man it's going to blow me away! But, in the end I just think wow it sounds really good too! Just like the little JBL Go! And the Flip! The boombox is incredible, as I expected, but I'm still very impressed with the JBL Go. If you need something quick and easy, this is so much easier to remember to pack or leave packed even. I'm sure in an outdoor setting something bigger will carry more. The boombox definitely has a ton more bass, as it should for that size. But, this little Go has enough bass that it will wiggle around on a countertop from the vibration. I really like the rubber pad on the bottom. I can sit it upright and it will stay in place. I also absolutely love that they make these waterproof. I have seem them get completely submerged on the river and they don't miss a beat. They just keep rocking. All of them. Great sound for the size of it. Not sure how water proof it is, but we’ve taken this speaker out on the lake in our paddle boards numerous times and not had an issue yet. I liked the rugged design so it can be beat up a little…within reason. Product is amazing. JBL speaker was packaged well and sturdy/ contents arrived without flaw. Service and arrival was quick. I have gone through tons of different bluetooth speakers over the years with some being expensive home use only with larger components for theater quality sound and others being small bargained buy dust and water resistant for outdoors or for daily use in my commercial truck... This little JBL go3 is the epitomy of a simplistic design, small and light enough to be placed or hung by a caribeaner just about anywhere, all while remaining seemingly invisible but has the volume and overall sound quality of other speakers 2x the size. It feels extremely well made and solid in is build yet has no metal on its exterior. It charges quickly via USB type-c chargin which has become the industry standard and replaced micro USB for most of us. The only thing that I don't like about this speaker is the lack of an aux port which I mistakenly thought it had when purchasing. JBL Job well done!! ... show more

I have been wanting one of these for a while but I have so many bluetooth speakers I was holding off but when saw it for half price I had to have one. It sounds great and it very portable. I have a couple of Clip 2's and they sound good but the design of the the GO 3 is much better. I have been very pleased with the GO 3 so far. But the best thing about the GO 3 is that it will dance for you if you lay it on the back side.. :-) :-) ... show more
