    • This thing has amazed me
Style: Go 3 Eco Color: ECO White
I cannot believe how much sound this little speaker packs. I've experienced the JBL Flip and that's what got me paying attention to JBL's portable speakers. That thing sounds so good. I wanted to be able to have an even MORE portable solution for sound. Something that would fit really easily into my work bag. I can't play music very loud in the office, but I wanted something better than my laptop speakers. This is MORE THAN solving that issue. I feel like this thing has no business being this small and sounding this good. It's rich, clean, and has enough bass to make any music or video sound great. I use it all the time. I never get it out and think aw man this is all the better my sound quality is going to be? Darn. I think, oh heck yeah I get to use this little guy again! When I have to stay in a hotel, I connect my laptop's bluetooth to it and watch movies. It really enhances the experience. I will completely forget that this great audio is coming from a tiny little bluetooth speaker. I get fixed on the media I am enjoying. Charing and pairing is really easy. I don't even know how long the battery lasts. I've never had it die. I know it can't go forever, but boy does it seem like it can go a real long time! I bought the boombox when it was nearly half off on prime day and now that I've tried 3 different models I have come to a strange conclusion. They get more impressive the smaller they get. There isn't much sacrifice for spending less and going smaller. But, the bigger you go the less I feel impressed. I turn on the big boombox and think oh man it's going to blow me away! But, in the end I just think wow it sounds really good too! Just like the little JBL Go! And the Flip! The boombox is incredible, as I expected, but I'm still very impressed with the JBL Go. If you need something quick and easy, this is so much easier to remember to pack or leave packed even. I'm sure in an outdoor setting something bigger will carry more. The boombox definitely has a ton more bass, as it should for that size. But, this little Go has enough bass that it will wiggle around on a countertop from the vibration. I really like the rubber pad on the bottom. I can sit it upright and it will stay in place. I also absolutely love that they make these waterproof. I have seem them get completely submerged on the river and they don't miss a beat. They just keep rocking. All of them. They're just doing so many things right with all of these products. ... show more

    • Everything you need to know or want to know.
This thing look amazing I like the design, its got good grip and it’s kinda soft, it’s very tought for when it’s dropped it want damage at all, pretty hard to destroy. It’s very loud for a small speaker thought the base ain’t too much to get excited over but it’s ok it’s still very very loud. It’s very fast with connectivity, soon as the on button is hit it is connected. I’d say for 45-70 dollars worth of a little speaker like this is worth it. I use it for when I’m having a little party, fishing, relaxing or even just gaming and having family night this is the right speaker! I would like to tell you It plays a cool eco like sound when it’s turned on and off it’s really cool and sounds amazing, I’ve never heard a sound like it. So when you take it out in public or around friends you’re most likely to impress them with it, I’ve been told “woah! Dude that sounds high tech”. It’s such a cool speaker it’s worth the money and by the way no I’m not a bot review I’m a real person and like the speaker as far as going out to right a review, I never right reviews but this was worth it! ... show more

    • Great purchase!
Style: Go 3 Eco Color: ECO Blue
Review Image by megan
Absolutely love it! I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and it’s perfect. Great to clip onto his bag for work or games/practice (rugby) or for going on a hike/ walk. We’ve had it for over a month now and it’s worked great, amazing volume for its size and all his work buddies also love it due to its size. Never had any issue with the Bluetooth even connecting between our different devices. My husband left it outside on accident the other night we got 2 inches of rain and it still works no problem, perfect clarity for music. Literally sat in a puddle until the afternoon when we realized where it was, thought it would have been broken but works perfect definitely more than just water resistance. Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend! ... show more

    • Great sound, if you're willing to make some sacrifices
Style: Go 3 Eco Color: ECO White
The Go 3 has great sound, and gets quite loud for such a small device. It also has great build quality - the rubber's high-quality, and the fabric feels like it has some weight behind it. The IPX67 means it can hold up even with a little dirt and water. It seems JBL focused exclusively on those two things, and left everything else by the way-side. For $40, I can't really complain. I'm happy with the purchase. Now for what you're *not* getting for $40 (that I would gladly pay another $10 for): - In my very amateur measurements, the device has -zero- bass or bass responsiveness. What I mean is, even if you turn the gain all the way up on the lower end, the driver just isn't capable of pushing out bass. In actually usage, you don't particularly notice, but it's something to be aware of. - Abysmal battery life and no fast-charge. 5 hours is kind of the bottom of the barrel for premium speakers in this range. The kicker is no fast-charge: it takes 2.5 hours to charge the device from 0% to 100%. You really have to plan around it. - No TWS, which I can't figure why they didn't include it. TWS enables you to connect two speakers for stereo output. The Go 3 is prime for this: I'd happily throw another $40 to have two devices. But I guess not. All that being said, the Go 3 is a great device, and if you have a use-case for it, you'll be very pleased. If you want something for daily listening, though, I'd go with one of JBLs higher-end models. ... show more

    • Excellent shower speaker
Style: Go 3 Eco Color: ECO Blue
I bought this because I listen to music in the shower to help time when to rinse out my conditioner. My shower door drowns out my phone speaker unless I have it blasting at full, so I looked to this speaker instead. The speaker connects quickly, and I haven’t had any issues with the speaker disconnecting during use. Despite the small size, it’s pretty loud! The volume buttons on the side are soft but sturdy. It could just be my own ignorance but I don’t think it has a skip/back button, which is my only qualm. I keep the speaker on a hook out of the direct water stream. The sound is clear and the bass is good, as to be expected with JBL products. It isn’t as good sound quality as the pricier, bigger speakers, but it’s really good in terms of these small clip on speakers. I could see this also being super convenient for summer camp, picnics, etc. It’s much easier for me now to listen at a more reasonable volume with this speaker. I love it and recommend to anyone looking for a small, portable, waterproof speaker. ... show more
