Speakers have really come a long way. 5 years ago this would've cost like $300 and not had anywhere near the same sound quality or battery life. This thing get surprisingly loud if you need it to. Otherwise the clarity of the sound and the bass levels are acceptable. You have to realize a small speaker will never function like a full setup. My son bought this speaker, but now everyone in the family wants to borrow it. We have older cars, without blue-tooth connections, so we set this on the dash. It has GREAT sound. We had ANKER speakers before, but this is much superior. The round design doesn't work well on the dash, but my son made a little stand. It connects well and the battery life is pretty good. Loooove this speaker!! Separate bass & tweet speakers = superior sound. Better than the same size Bose I tried first! I use it throughout the day- inside folding laundry, outside on the large patio entertaining guests, etc. I have JBL ear buds & a smaller JBL speaker as well. Great sound!!

I bought this speaker for my sister as a Christmas gift- an up grade to the one she had. The kids were using it around the pool and somehow it fell into the pool without the kids noticing. When my sister asked for it the following day, that is when it was found at the bottom of the pool, some 10 hours later. And guess what, it never missed a beat. It truly is waterproof. When I received it the quality looked poor but I said I would make it my own and maybe the quality won't be obvious because it's an night event. The head part was too small. The sleeves were too small, it smelled like it was worn (not stunk) just worn. There were multiple yellow spots all over it. I washed it and the sequence fell off though I I washed it very gingerly and the worst yellow stain did not come off. It only faded. To add insult to injury the wash water was dirty. Sigh.

This is the best speaker I’ve owned. The sound is incredibly clear and so clean !!! Would definitely recommend to a friend !! Packaging was great. And it’s easy to hook up to Bluetooth. I’m not tech savvy, so this worked great for me. Received it very quickly.
