JBL does it again. Nice compact speaker. Has great sound. Easy to connect via Bluetooth. If you crank it, it is loud and distortion free. The bass does get a little lost when playing at high volume. Great bass sound mid to low volume. Liked it so much, bought a 2nd one for my wife. Battery charge holds for long time, haven't gone 12 hrs as stated, but seems like will go that long. Charges reasonably quick. Great value for the money in my opinion. Waterproof for up to 30 minutes (haven't tested that yet LOL). ... show more

This is one of those speakers that doesn’t try to do too much, but does what it’s supposed to really well. Build quality stood out right away. It feels solid, durable, and like you don’t have to baby it. The size and fit are perfect too, easy to carry around or throw in a bag without taking up much space. The fabric and rubber design give it that rugged feel, and overall it just feels well made. Sound quality is where it really shines. For the size, it has a surprising amount of power. It gets loud enough to fill a room without sounding distorted, and the bass hits nicely without drowning everything else out. Vocals and mids still come through clean. It’s not replacing a full speaker setup, but for something portable, it definitely holds its own. I’ve been using it for everyday listening, small gatherings, hiking, gaming, and just having music on in the background while I’m working, and it’s been consistent across all of it. Bluetooth connection is quick and has been stable, no random drops or reconnect issues. Once it’s paired, it just works. Controls are simple and easy to use too. Battery life has been solid. I can get close to a full day out of it depending on volume, and charging is straightforward and doesn’t take long. It’s easy to keep it topped up and ready to go. The waterproof design is also a nice bonus, especially if you’re using it outside or around water, just adds that extra peace of mind. Overall, this is one of those speakers that just works. Good sound, solid build, reliable connection, and strong battery life. Great option if you want something portable with enough power for everyday use without overthinking it. This thing puts out some seriously good sound for such a compact little speaker - I’m no audiophile but I honestly like it better than the Bose I bought a few months back. Right out of the box it had clean, RICH sound, good balance of bass, mid, and treble, and loud enough to use outside. 4 stars only because after downloading the app I found there was no equalizer option for this model, which to me feels like it should be standard, but I can work with the EQ on my phone, so…maybe 4.5 stars 😏.
