Hello, just wanted to say I got this in November of 2024, and I have to say this little speaker has big sound to it with good bass, and with the app, it has a great battery life, and some days I don't have to charge it for a couple of days It has a great, strong belt clip on it. Still works like the first day I got it. The plus is that if you get two of them, you can play music on both at the same time. It charges via USB-C. It has nice push buttons for easy use. You don't have to look down to look for the button you need. It's a small size to fit almost anywhere. Love it!!! For something that is so small, it's sound is large. Setup was super easy. Definitely worth the money plus more. Its extremely sturdy because I always drop it and nothing happens. The control buttons are easy and fun. Highly recommend it!!!

I bought the JBL Clip 5 to replace and upgrade my JBL Clip 3 last year. I definitely hear the difference in sound quality. It definitely has bigger and better bass. I like the new feature, Auracast. I bought my son a JBL Go 4 and I can't wait to pair them together for bigger sound and surround sound. My Clip 3 still works but it was time for an upgrade. I was also getting tired of the obsolete MicroUSB charging cord. Really, the only downside to the clip 5 is that it doesn't have the microphone to use it during phone calls. I can also tell that the clip 5 has a better battery life. I also can see the difference that it charges a lot faster than the Clip 3. JBL never disappoints. I own 2 of these speakers and love the performance. Great sound for the size, very light and great for travel. Would be a 5 star on performance alone but who in the heck thought the shape was a good idea. The speaker cannot stand up or on side due to egg shape. Really stupid you have to buy 3rd part silicone stand that covers up 2/3 of the speaker. Did just find a different silicon stand that has very open cover so it does let interfere with sound. JBL just design them with flat bottom or side. Your higher end competition does it and their sound quality is perfect too. ... show more

I got this for my teenage kids to use in the shower since they have been using their iPhones and they are getting wet. For the price I expected good sound but not INCREDIBLY CLEAR & QUALITY SOUND!! I have a premium brand full sound system that is about 10 years old and I thought sounded pretty incredible. Then I heard this little thing and was blown away. Don't even hesitate! It has a clip to fit easily in portable spaces but does not stand up to work on a table well so that would be the only thing you will want to consider. Perfect for shower, backpack clip, clipping outside deck/patio activities, clip to a hammock, or even outside on a bag or tool bucket while gardening. It's wild how the volume can go super high but it's not disruptive to those far away from it. No matter what volume level you choose, it is still the clearest sound I've ever heard.
