Like all JBL speakers this does not disappoint. The case is great, love the color, and it gives great sound. We have 4 JBL speakers of varying sizes and our house was hit by lightning. What the fire didn't get, the water did in most cases. We did not lose one JBL speaker. They all survived. 2 were in kids' bedrooms directly under the worst of the fire, they lost most everything in their rooms, the water was heavy and constant on these 2 rooms and after you could see the sky above when walking in these rooms. Both of these kids had their speakers on their desks, and both work perfectly still. I purchased this JBL charge 6 speaker, as my portable Bose speaker was old and not connecting good to Bluetooth. A friend had the charge 5 JBL. So I decided to consider a JBL for myself. I was really impressed with the quality of the sound and just how powerful this speaker is. I have to say it blows the Bose speaker out of the water. Both in sound quality and volume.
