  • Easy to work with
Color: Pla+ White
The media could not be loaded. Really easy to work with this filament. I ordered white and red, both perform well under the same conditions and produce great results. No problems with clogging or consistency with almost 1 kg down. Works well at 220 nozzle and 75 bed temps at 5000’ elevation low humidity environment. Great adhesion to glass print bed with .4mm nozzle. ... show more

  • Superior transparent filament!! Extremely strong!!
Color: Pla+ Transparent
Amazing pla! Extremely strong and great for vase printing. My pictures pf potion bottles I made are water tight and only a continuous single layer print. This transparent pla is the best!!

  • Ok for the price
Color: Pla+ White
So, I bought a roll of the PLA+ (white) because it was 17 bucks and boasted a diameter tolerance of +/-0.02mm, which puts it up there with the midrange name brand stuff. Why not, right? So far, not too bad...but nothing like I expected it to be. Firstly, the advertised extrusion temp is WAAAY off. It lists 210-235C, so I started it off at 215 because that's what my other PLA+ spools like on my machine. I got blobs, oozing, stringing from hell, etc. So, I dialed it back to 200. Still stringing, but much better. I'm printing right now at 195, and it looks GREAT so far. Makes me wonder what's different about my spool that made the temperature fall way outside the listed range. Second, the advertised bed temp is nuts. 70C for PLA+? Well, that's what the box said, so I tried it. I get great adhesion on my glass bed, but these prints absolutely would not pop off after cooling without a frustrating amount of coercion. I'm going to try dialing that back a bit and see what happens. Lastly, and what you probably REALLY want to know about, is the print quality and durability. Honestly, it's not that bad. I'd compare it to my eSun PLA+. Lots of added hardness, but unfortunately it's very brittle in spots where it counts (such as arms and legs on miniatures). I prefer a PLA+ with a little more elasticity, but I think this stuff will function well for less delicate pieces. Overall, it was an OK experiment. The price was great, and though this stuff will never become my go-to, I feel like I'll use the roll - it doesn't deserve to go into the garbage bin or anything. ... show more

  • Bad winding.
Color: Pla+ White
Bought this product before, and was great, but got this one and the winding on the spool was terrible. It was overlapped, bent, kinked, and everything but tied in a knot. Changed out my old spool for this new one since I had a 2.5 day print (which I did with the last spool as well) and have had multiple issues. First had a nozzle clog, (which I rarely ever have) then had a red or burnt layer, then had a layer shift. Some part of these issues may have been due to the printer? ( obviously there's always technical difficulties with 3d printing) ,but this is the first spool that I've gotten that was this Mangled, and yet to have this many issues with a print in 2 years, with multiple different printers. It was as of the person spooling the roll was on their last hour of work for the week and said , "screw it" it'll work. Smh. ... show more

  • Great Filament and Easy to Print
Color: Pla-black
PLA is should be the easiest filament to print and this one is no different. I used the same setting as I would use for the SUNLU PLA+ and it worked perfectly. I am using a direct drive Sovol SV01 printer with the following settings: .4 Nozzle .2 Layer Height 215 Print Temp 65 Bed Temp 45 mm/s Print Speed I skipped all temp tower and etc. and just went straight for my first print. It turned out perfectly with little to no stringing. For it being PLA it was strong and had very good layer adhesion. Maybe, I just got lucky with the setting on my first try, but sometime when I tried to print this same thing with different filaments you can totally see the problems. But with this filament, the screen like walls was strong and did NOT crack or fall apart when I applied moderate pressure to it. My initial impressions when I pulled the roll out of the box was… PERFECT!!! love to cut open a brand-new roll of filament and hear the air being sucked in the airtight bag. Believe it or not, I have encountered a lot of filament that did not come in a bag that was completely airtight. Then I notice the filament was not shiny like all the other PLA (PLA, PLA+, SPLA) from SUNLU. I included some pictures to show how it looks in compression to SUNLU SPLA and PLA+. I kind of like the matte look but in the end, after I printed my first test, it was not matte. That is okay but I was hoping it could be. Maybe if I lower the print temperature that will affect the final product? I will need to do more testing to see if that is the case. As of now, with my current settings, the end product still produces and shiny print. ... show more

  • pla quality is good, spool is bad
Color: Pla+ Black
the pla seems to be of good quality. prints very well on my ender 3 pro at 70 degree bed and 210 hot end when the spool isn't binding up. i had multiple successful prints, but i had to babysit the spool the entire time. The spool has yet to unwind nicely, and binds up all the time. if i'm not constantly watching the print and loosening the spool, it won't feed correctly. wasted hours and hours try to get longer prints to print successfully - spool binds up every time. See pictures where i have gaps in my print where the spool binds up and doesn't feed, wasting another 4 hours. I have had excellent success with sunlu PLA+, and was excited to try this subsidiary. unless there are some major changes with how the spool is wound, i will not be purchasing again. UPDATE: I was able to unwind the spool and get it to feed correctly - BE SURE the end is not tucked under any other part of the filament. I ended up wasting about 20 feet to find the end that was tucked under, but i was able to get this to print correctly. In all i wasted about 1/8 of this spool to get it to print. now that i know this information i should be able to get it to print correctly more often, but it will take some time to make sure it's correct. ... show more
