I liked this Jayo filament and I have used reordered it the past. At that point is was one of the cheapest PETG at the time I got it for $12.34. At that price I highly recommend it. At the current price well... Print quality was good. I don't have any issues. My honest opinion: whenever I can grab Jayo for less than refills of other brands for a specific job: it's a great purchase. At the time of this review it costs more, and for me it hasn't printed better: so I will move on to something slightly better for the same price or less. For my Bambu printers a filament has to beat Bambu Bulk Pricing, or if need to be in a pinch. Jayo Grey PETG has made functional ductwork parts for me, and in a pinch or on a sale I'd buy it again!

These JAYO filaments have currently become my new favorite filament for my X2C and P1S printers (both with AMS). While I wish it was slightly more matte, it still looks way better than the typical shiny filament. I usually use Bambu’s own filament, but these have proven to be as good of quality and reliability. No issues with stringing, clogging, or anything causing bad prints. I’ve only used black so far but have purchased white and red to use next.

Purchased the Red, Blue, Orange, Green bundle. Good packaging, though one of the bags wasn't sealed all the way (not sure if seal was broken or if it just wasn't sealed as well as others). That said, the filament itself printed just fine on K1 Max. I like the color and the finish. Tech details are as follows: From what I understand JAYO is a sub-brand of SUNLU so I've used SUNLU PETG profile in Orca Slicer as a start. Bed is textured PEI pre-heated at 65c. First layer 245c, all others at 240c. Left speed at 14mm3/s, did not try to fine-tune. Prints clean, haven't had an issue with this one yet. Would definitely look into purchasing this again, especially if it goes on a sale with sub-$10 per kilo.

The good: Price point? Questionable for sure. The bad: Everything else. Color match/quality. Spooling. Print quality. Wasted time/prints. AMS Lite compatibility. The verdict: I'm unsure if JAYO sent me a defective batch of product or if JAYO products are just all around subpar ( which could explain the low price), but I'm quite upset about this purchase because I spent over $125 on these 11 rolls of filament. Here I thought I was getting a great deal from JAYO, and it turns out that the joke was on me because all the filament I received was trash. Let me all the bad I mention: Color match/quality: The colors you see in their pictures does NOT match what you receive in real life. The only colors that match are the clear, white and black. The green and blue area decent representation but the rest of the colors are very different. The orange, green, and yellow are quite translucent and very fluorescent, as is the "red"-ish color, which is leaning orange. The pink is much darker than the pictures as well. So if you're looking for colors that match or true reds and greens and yellows, then this is not it. It would be nice if they displayed the actual colors of the filament they're sending out, so you can know what you're buying instead of them just adding random picture and claiming that you're selling those colors when in reality you are not. COLOR ACCURACY IS IMPORTANT and it's not that hard to accomplish. Spooling. The quality of the filament spools is ridiculous. Honestly, I've never actually had any issues with ANY filament brand getting stuck and ruining prints because they're selling tangled messes on a spool. Multiple rolls that I was sent were so badly wound that they stopped printing. Multiples times (more than I can count) they did this and not only ruined the print but also wasted my time. We all know how frustrating that is, especially when it's not your fault. So yeah, the spool job almost makes it unusable unless you respool it which is always a pain. Print quality. I don't know what it is, but this is just not nice, PETG. Prints just come out looking horrible. Super stringy and overly transparent. While I understand PETG tends to be a little more translucent, I feel like this stuff was extra see-through. Almost as much as the translucent red I bought at the same time. Just a lot of wasted time and prints with this PETG. The crazy part is that I only bought it because I had used some JAYO PLA before, and it was really nice. Haha. Maybe I should have skipped the PETG and stuck with the PLA? I don't know. Did I get wet filament or something? How can you send all that bad PETG? It's almost like they sent me some bad stuff on purpose and just discounted the price a little to sell it faster. AMS Lite compatibility. These spools are ridiculously large and do NOT fit the AMS Lite. That's another thing that has caused issues is trying to use this filament with the AMS Lite, and it popping off the spool holder because it's doesn't even kind of fit. I had to print up some little holders for the AMS, and even then, I can't leave it for any long prints, otherwise I'd risk losing the print when the spool comes crashing down inside the enclosure.So if you have AMS Lite JAYO is not going to be your friend. Haha. I dont normally write reviews like this but I feel like this warranted a nice thorough review since it's cause me so much headache and problems. Haha. I feel like JAYO should pay me for all the troubleshooting and stressing I had to do. It's unfortunate because I thought I liked JAYO as a brand after using their PLA but not that I have used the PETG and had such a horrendous experience, I will NEVER use their PETG again and am not skeptical of their PLA. And that's sad cause they always have great prices. But great prices don't mean anything if the product you receive is subpar or inferior in so many ways. In my opinion, I would steer clear of this PETG and probably the PLA as well if JAYO is going to be sending out defective products like this. It's sad cause I wanted to love JAYO but I feel like I was robbed for $125 and stuck with useless PETG that I dont want and cant use. Make it right JAYO!
