  • Small Size, Mighty Drying Power. Small Size, Mighty Drying Power.
Color: J1 Black
I’m giving this filament dryer 5 stars, and here’s why: 150W of real drying power. This thing heats fast and dries aggressively exactly what you want for hygroscopic filaments. Ultra‑slim profile. It fits inside my printer enclosure without crowding anything. The compact footprint is one of its biggest strengths. It actually dries filament well. Performance is solid, consistent, and noticeably improves print quality. Looks like a 3‑cylinder, performs like an 8‑cylinder. Small body, big output. Room for improvement: The gap between the heater unit and the drying canister needs a gasket or better sealing. Moisture can creep in. There are no clips or supports to lock the heater and container together. A simple latch or lock system would make it feel like a unified product. It works the way is designed, don't be discouraged by this observation. Like most brands, extra containers are overpriced for what they are. Overall, a decent execution on the mechanical design, probably to keep costs down, though the price isn’t exactly low. The compact size and strong drying performance make it a standout. Just don’t leave your spool sitting on the heater; seal the canister with the included bottom covers when not in use. I expect great things from JAYO, and this is a strong step in the right direction. I am keeping this dryer, is the only one that has managed to fit properly, inside my printer enclosure. For my taste, makes it a 10 stars, product. ... show more

  • Impressive Speed and Quality with JAYO High Speed PLA Filament!
I recently tried the JAYO High Speed PLA Filament 1.75mm, and it has quickly become one of my go-to filaments for rapid 3D printing projects. Here’s a rundown of my experience with it: Speed and Performance: The most notable feature of this filament is its high-speed printing capability. It lives up to its promise of fast printing, allowing me to complete projects significantly quicker than with standard PLA filaments. The filament flows smoothly and maintains excellent layer adhesion even at higher speeds, which is crucial for producing high-quality prints without sacrificing speed. Print Quality: Despite the rapid print speeds, the quality of the prints has been outstanding. The filament produces clean, detailed, and accurate results with minimal stringing or warping. The surface finish is smooth, and colors come out vibrant and true to the spool’s hue. The strength and durability of the printed objects are also impressive, holding up well under stress. Ease of Use: The JAYO filament is easy to work with. It feeds smoothly through my printer without issues, and the consistent diameter helps ensure reliable extrusion. There have been no clogs or jams, which is a huge plus when dealing with faster print speeds. Compatibility: This filament has performed well across various 3D printers I’ve used, making it a versatile choice for different setups. It adheres well to various build surfaces and seems to be compatible with a wide range of machines. Value for Money: Given its performance at high speeds and the quality of the prints, this filament offers excellent value. It is priced competitively for a high-speed PLA and delivers on its promises, making it a worthwhile investment for those who need efficiency without compromising on quality. Overall: The JAYO High Speed PLA Filament 1.75mm is an excellent choice for anyone looking to speed up their 3D printing projects without sacrificing print quality. It combines fast printing capabilities with reliable performance, making it a valuable addition to any 3D printing enthusiast’s toolkit. Highly recommended for both rapid prototyping and detailed prints! ... show more

  • Nice product and well priced
Color: J1 Black
This works well. Also doubles as a dry storage when not in use.

  • Good filament - no issues.
Color: 4*1.1kg(black & White & Red & Blue)
Excellent filament. I've already run through all four spools with my AD5X printer at its highest speed settings with no troubles. The blue and red were nice and vibrant. No issues with inter-layer adhesion, and the print quality was great.

  • Good cheap filament, but...
This HF-PLA works fine for 1. Standard applications 2. 150mm/s default settings for speed printing. The place where the issues arise is beyond this point. Mixed results with 300mm/s printing and can't not achieve any higher. Used the suggested temperatures but 1. No filament profiles are available and outside this Amazon listing you'd think JAYO doesn't even sell this product, 2. Super mixed results when I did get it to start printing. I am using a Creality K1c so it is most definitely capable of these prints with fine tuning. My biggest issue was filament not melting or cooling unevenly leading to some parts being perfect while others having lumps and ridges of colled plastic making future layers either not possible or messing with the print due to collisions or filament being pushed. Overall good cheap filament if you are printing 150mm/s and a little up but for higher would not recomend unless you are happy spending a lot of time trying to dial the filament in for your specific printer alone and know how to change slicer settings to have different temp/speed and flow rate at different layers/print lengths. ... show more

  • Nice dryer system, useful for tool changers
Color: J1 Black
This dryer is working well for me. The forced air dries filament well and the blanks for sealing the openings and dessicant keep the filament dry while storing or printing. Make sure to dry the dessicant out first or it will just keep adding moisture inside the box. And, add 1mm foam tape around the base of the dryer to seal it when it's on the dryer base but not actively drying. Unit can be reversed to feed the filament out the back, but you have to clip two small pieces of plastic with flush cutters. I'm using this with my Snapmaker U1 and PTFE adapters for the auto-feeders. I will be getting more of the boxes, but I wished they were cheaper given that they're essentially just a plastic bin with weatherstripping. ... show more

  • Stunning Design and Great Value, but Know the Downsides and difference before you buy Before You Buy Stunning Design and Great Value, but Know the Downsides and difference before you buy Before You Buy
Color: J1 Black
Overall, this is a product I wanted to like from the start, and to be fair, there are several strong points that make it stand out immediately, the design is one of the cleanest I’ve seen in this category, honestly I haven’t come across anything more visually refined, and next to my Bambu Lab setup it doesn’t look out of place at all, it actually blends in really well in terms of visual language and simplicity, the cable that comes with it is long enough, which is something I’ve seen as a common complaint in other dryers, so that alone is a practical detail that’s handled well here. The concept itself is not new at all, and I don’t think this product tries to reinvent anything in that sense, it’s an already existing and proven idea in the market, having a separated heating base with stackable or interchangeable storage containers, and personally I do think this is the right direction for this kind of product, it just works and it makes sense, but this unit doesn’t really introduce anything different or innovative in that regard, it mainly relies on an established concept that already exists and is already proven to work across other options. Where it does stand out is mainly in the design, which is honestly its strongest point, the visual execution is much more refined than most alternatives in this category, and that is probably the main reason I would consider it over others, although even there, there are some specific areas that don’t feel as well resolved, the container system and overall functionality are straightforward, it reaches up to 70°C which is competitive for the price I got it at with discount, especially considering that there are other options around a similar range that don’t even reach that level of temperature performance, so in that sense it does deliver on the basic expectations. I tried to love it, but honestly there are things I identified that personally didn’t feel right to me about this product, this is my first filament dryer and I mainly chose it because of the aesthetics, based on what was shown it looked noticeably better than other options, and even though it’s a new product with not many reviews yet I still decided to give it a try, but the reality is there are differences between what is shown in marketing and what you actually receive, not extreme differences, but enough small inconsistencies that affect the overall perception of the product, and I think that should be made clearer from the beginning of the buying process. The first thing I didn’t like was the locking system, although in theory it looks cleaner and has fewer mechanical parts, in practice it ends up being uncomfortable to use, it’s a solid plastic piece with an internal rubber seal, and the issue is that the grip you have to remove it is very limited, to the point where using it with one hand is basically impossible, the idea is good, but the execution makes it harder than it should be, and something as simple as slightly softer material or a less stiff seal would already improve usability a lot without compromising the airtight concept. The second thing that stood out to me is the screen and the lower body finish, the lower body is a black plastic that is supposed to be matte but in reality it has a noticeable gloss and reflectivity which already makes it feel a bit cheaper than expected, and then the screen is where the biggest difference shows, because in the marketing it looks like a clean integrated surface with white digits that feel embedded into the material, but in reality it is a glossy black cutout within the body, and inside that cutout there is another recessed section where the actual LCD sits with a white backlight, so instead of those clean white characters shown in the images what you actually get is a standard LCD displaying black digits on a lit background, and that layered construction changes the whole visual impression and makes the product feel less premium than expected. Another detail is the buttons, the silver finish is too prominent and doesn’t really blend with the rest of the design, and a darker or more neutral tone would have made the whole unit look much cleaner and more consistent instead of drawing unnecessary attention to the controls, a smaller detail is the airflow, the inlet and outlet nozzles have a slight angle, and that gives the impression that the air circulation inside the chamber is not fully uniform, instead of a smooth 360 flow it feels more like hot air hits the filament and then redistributes unevenly rather than circulating evenly throughout the space. The base and sealing system is another point, the upper container has rubber sealed caps that close properly, but once it sits on the heating base that connection is no longer fully sealed and there is some play, I understand it can’t be completely airtight because moisture needs a way out, but the implementation feels a bit unrefined, and it would make more sense to have that regulation on the upper section with an adjustable vent instead of relying on a fixed gap at the base. Lastly, the sensor inconsistency, the top only measures relative humidity and the bottom only measures temperature, even though in videos and in the interface there are references to RH on the lower section as well, which creates confusion because it visually suggests more data than the system is actually capable of measuring, and in the end there is no real cross reference between both zones which limits your ability to verify how the system is performing internally. Overall the product does work and it does its job, the design is actually one of the cleanest I’ve seen in this category and the idea of combining storage and drying in a single system is genuinely useful, I got it at a discounted price under 50 dollars and at that price it makes sense for me to keep it, but being completely honest at full price I’m not sure I would recommend it in its current state, there are design decisions that if refined, especially the screen, button finish, sealing system, sensors and locking mechanism, would make it feel much more coherent with what it is trying to sell visually and would actually justify positioning it against competitors that offer the same storage and drying concept but have already been in the market longer, are more tested, and have proven reliability over time. In the end, I’ve decided to keep the product because at the price I bought it with the discount, I think it’s definitely worth it, and while there are several things I’ve pointed out that didn't meet my expectations, they are all things I can ultimately get around and live with in my daily use, but as I said, I would have liked to know these details before I bought it so I knew exactly what I was getting into, I hope this helps other people understand what to expect so they don't feel like they aren't getting what was promised, because while it is the best option I found for the price compared to others, I do hope these points are taken into consideration for a next iteration. ... show more
