I appreciate the design that went into this daybed. It is well worth the price. I got the charcoal color, which is a true deep gray that is simply beautiful. The fabric is soft and should be easy to maintain. Take note that in the video it says to let the foam rise for at least 20 minutes and then shows them putting it together. In the written instructions that come with it it says 24 to 48 hours for foam to fully expand/firm up. Mine took 24 hours. But I think that made it slightly more difficult to get the very tight fabric casings on it. But it really wasn’t that big of a deal. I think if you don’t let it expand, you might end up with gaps and corners that aren’t quite right. I assembled it myself, but I do think that having a spare set of hands would’ve made it much easier. I sleep on this nightly in the single bed position. It’s very comfortable. I also have and plan to continue to rotate and/or flip the top mattress every week or so. This should keep the foam fairly even. I also run a vacuum over it every few days as the dark fabric shows every speck of dust lol It’s only been about a month so I can’t speak to longevity. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this if it’s within your budget.

I took a chance on this and ended up finding the perfect extra sleeping area solution for my small guest room/office. I especially like that it’s on legs. Cover is super soft and removable for cleaning. Packaged well. Easy to follow instructions. Very nice quality. Go ahead and place that order - you won’t regret it.

This is so much nicer than I expected! It was super easy to put together and you can’t even tell that I did it myself. It’s firm and comfortable, and the chenille is really soft. I ended up getting the Jaxx chenille Ice color from Amazon, rather than the boucle version on Wayfair. Amazon‘s version was less expensive and shipped right away from Amazon itself. Plus, chenille is coming back in style and boucle is on its way out. I chose this for multi functionality, especially that it opens to queen-size bed. As a bed, I will add a foam topper. I am still figuring out how to sit on it as a chaise, I am thinking I’ll add another small foam triangle pillow. I have this paired with a long queen headboard sized triangle pillow that I also got from Amazon, and the boucle pillow is from H&M.

I’ve been sleeping on this daybed every night for the past 2 years, and I’ve got to say, I would not recommend. There is no fabric connecting the two mattresses so the crack in the middle is uncomfortable, as a result I need to use a foam mattress topper which makes it a bit more tolerable. I’ve been sleeeping on the side with no legs when unfolded, so it seems that it’s worn down and is much thinner than the side with legs. This was the only day bed I could find that was long enough for me that’s why I went with it. Trying to take a nap when the bed is folded in “day” mode is uncomfortable as well because of how wobbly it is. The bed wouldn’t look terrible durning the day but since I have to stack the mattress topper on top it doesn’t look great. Color and fabric are nice though and any factory smell it came with went away completely. Basically you can get the same product by stacking two twin sized mattresses together just without the legs, doing so would look worse but I don’t think the crack down the middle would be as bad.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this. Thank you to the delivery person, because it was a heavy package (roughly 80lbs, one box). It was very well packaged inside with everything clearly labeled. It was easy to put together as a single person; I didn't have trouble getting the cushions in the covers. Press down on the foam-- if you've zipped an overpacked suitcase you won't have any issues. It has been very comfortable to sit and nap on in twin mode, though it is firm. I haven't slept on it down yet and will update if needed. I did order a mattress to put over as I believe it will be necessary. It is a bit expensive for me, but I couldn't find a better option that could function as seating and also give me the space for couples and individuals to visit, especially my siblings who are all over 6 ft tall, for less.

The daybed is very uncomfortable to sit on it, didn't try to sleep but it is very hard, will definitely need an extra toping. Also, if you decide to return, it will notbe easy. I got only 80% back

Before you listen to the naysayers that think it's overpriced, consider what the design and your use of it will be. I ordered the pinot color and i love the bed. I do a lot of upholstery and this fabric is beautiful and wears beautifully. I agree that a mattress topper is helpful to soften it and holds the two sides together. The design of the bed is very simple but it's so much more comfortable than any of the alternatives. The one exception might be the cabinet style sideways murphy beds with a queen mattress but they are 3500 dollars! Those that conclude that because it's simple, it should be cheap haven't shopped for wood, bun feet, fabric or upholstery services recently. The fabric quality is excellent. Expect to pay 40 dollars a yard to maych it. Hiring a seamstress to sew two large custom zippered covers is very pricey! I know because I'm making one just like it as my other space is too short for this daybed. It's going to be 2/3 of the price and I'm doing everything but the sewing myself! The one caveat for me is that for my older guests it's pretty low to the floor. I wouldn't expect my 95 year old parents to appreciate the height but everyone else has found it very comfortable. Enjoy it!
