I did my internet research on daybeds and kept seeing this one recommended. I settled on this daybed to provide a sleeping option for guests other than continuing to use a big blow up mattress. Takes up very little space for a sleeping option but is easily convertible to queen size if needed. The good Amazon reviews helped to give me the confidence in the quality of the bed since I had not seen it in person and just had product reviews to go on. It arrived quickly, packing was excellent insuring no damage, and it was simple and easy to assemble. I do admit wrestling with squishing the mattresses into the covers and zipping up, but they are meant for a tight fit to have smooth cushions. The velvet and zippers are high quality and the zippers are hidden. The size is more narrow than a twin bed but 80 inches long. No footboard or headboards or rickety wood or metal on this simple, smartly designed daybed and it is very sturdy without being too heavy to move around. Love the look, quality and design and color! No more depending on an air mattress to stay inflated! I did order a smart looking headboard pillow for reading and an egg crate mattress topper for extra comfort when i use it as a bed.

I appreciate the design that went into this daybed. It is well worth the price. I got the charcoal color, which is a true deep gray that is simply beautiful. The fabric is soft and should be easy to maintain. Take note that in the video it says to let the foam rise for at least 20 minutes and then shows them putting it together. In the written instructions that come with it it says 24 to 48 hours for foam to fully expand/firm up. Mine took 24 hours. But I think that made it slightly more difficult to get the very tight fabric casings on it. But it really wasn’t that big of a deal. I think if you don’t let it expand, you might end up with gaps and corners that aren’t quite right. I assembled it myself, but I do think that having a spare set of hands would’ve made it much easier. I sleep on this nightly in the single bed position. It’s very comfortable. I also have and plan to continue to rotate and/or flip the top mattress every week or so. This should keep the foam fairly even. I also run a vacuum over it every few days as the dark fabric shows every speck of dust lol It’s only been about a month so I can’t speak to longevity. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this if it’s within your budget.

Lovely daybed arrived in a heavy box. Took me about 45 minutes to assemble by myself. Very easy to do. All parts easy to work with. Had no issue with zipping up the cover over the mattresses. Fit perfectly. Turned out great. Love the cozy material. Works great under my window sill for an office/guest room. Took a nap on it and my dog and I agree it is very comfortable! I couldn’t be more pleased. I would like to add some cushions if the are available to give it a back to make it like a sofa.

I’ve been sleeping on this daybed every night for the past 2 years, and I’ve got to say, I would not recommend. There is no fabric connecting the two mattresses so the crack in the middle is uncomfortable, as a result I need to use a foam mattress topper which makes it a bit more tolerable. I’ve been sleeeping on the side with no legs when unfolded, so it seems that it’s worn down and is much thinner than the side with legs. This was the only day bed I could find that was long enough for me that’s why I went with it. Trying to take a nap when the bed is folded in “day” mode is uncomfortable as well because of how wobbly it is. The bed wouldn’t look terrible durning the day but since I have to stack the mattress topper on top it doesn’t look great. Color and fabric are nice though and any factory smell it came with went away completely. Basically you can get the same product by stacking two twin sized mattresses together just without the legs, doing so would look worse but I don’t think the crack down the middle would be as bad.

This is a lovely chaise lounge - however - it is not one piece or even attached! I removed one star because this was not made clear in the description. Two separate foam pieces sit on top of one another, held in place by friction. Eh? Not a great design. If you want to turn it into a bed, you have to hope the fitted sheet will hold the two pieces together, or you will end up on the floor. It is comfortable enough to sit on. It would be improved if the top and bottom were attached on one side.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this. Thank you to the delivery person, because it was a heavy package (roughly 80lbs, one box). It was very well packaged inside with everything clearly labeled. It was easy to put together as a single person; I didn't have trouble getting the cushions in the covers. Press down on the foam-- if you've zipped an overpacked suitcase you won't have any issues. It has been very comfortable to sit and nap on in twin mode, though it is firm. I haven't slept on it down yet and will update if needed. I did order a mattress to put over as I believe it will be necessary. It is a bit expensive for me, but I couldn't find a better option that could function as seating and also give me the space for couples and individuals to visit, especially my siblings who are all over 6 ft tall, for less.
