The material is durable and holds up well against my energetic pup’s claws. I love that it’s shallow enough for smaller dogs while still providing plenty of splashing opportunities. It’s great, but unfortunately my dog doesn’t agree with me. Guess I’ll use it for my well being on those 115 degrees days here in southern Arizona. I like that I can drain it from the plug and run a hose to water plants and not waste the water here in the desert. Sets up quickly.

I bought the XXXL for my 65 pound dog. It is plenty big enough for her. I like that it folds up and the liner is very heavy duty so her nails won't puncture it. Unfortunately, I didn't consider that it might be easy to chew up. And it is. The first night we had it she gnawed around the top of half of the pool. The panels are a thick particle board so she went to town on those. I think if I had bought a plastic one she would not have been able to do as much damage to it. She doesn't chew up anything inside of the house, including her toys! But if it is in her yard it is fair game. Even chewed on the pool is still usable and I will continue to repair it with duct tape but it is not going to last as long as I had hoped it would. Oh, it is also kind of hard to drain. There is a drain plug but it's kind of high and there is plenty of water left that you have to lift and pour out which I found to be a difficult task. ... show more
