The Jasgood nylon, canvas belt is a good belt at a very reasonable price. I ordered one in tan and then immediately ordered another in black. What I like about it is: the belt itself is strong and will last; you can adjust the length of the belt; it has an elastic strap that will hold any excess length (or you can remove the strap); the buckle is easy to close and open. This is not a dressy belt but will look good with jeans or casual pants. I usually wear my casual shirts out so the belt is really just doing its job. I wear mine with colored (gray, tan, black) jeans. Many others have commented about the buckle. The buckle on both of my Jasgood belts are wearing just fine, plus each belt ships with a spare buckle.

I use this belt often. It is sturdy and works will. It will get you wanded if you go thought TSA checkpoints at airports sue to a metal pin in the buckle are. But so doesn't so many other belts and this was not advertised to be used for that purpose. It serves great for gym shorts and pants while giving off an appropriate look for that use. It never comes unbuckled by accident and is easy on and off.

I am a FedEx driver and my scanner goes in a holster on my hip, it is heavy, several pounds. Because of this I eat leather belts for lunch. Even the Dickies extra heavy duty leather belt only lasts a year at most. So I needed something better, but the standard military canvas belts will not go through the metal detectors at work. Just take your belt off you say? Well I wear my iPhone in a holster on my left hip like an adult not in my pocket like a teenager so taking a belt off at work everyday is not really convenient. So I figured I'd try this one, the buckle takes some getting used to. And it is very easy to put the belt in your pants loops the wrong side out. Those just take some getting used to, just like when using anything new to you. But here is my biggest problem...because my scanner is so heavy and I wear it on my right hip, when I unbuckle the belt to use the restroom the belt goes flying out of the loops and my scanner and belt fall to the floor, the floor of a public restroom... If the belt was wider, instead of it's current 1.5", it would be harder for it to slide out of the belt loops. Overall it is a nice belt, it looks good at work and play.

I was looking for a durable, lightweight belt to use for hiking and camping and decided to try this one. While I haven't had a chance to use it in the outdoors yet, I have been wearing it for the past week or so and I've been pretty impressed by it. It's a pretty basic belt with a plastic buckle, but it's easy to fasten, stays tight, and seems to be durable. I've never really cared for webbed belts in the past, but the only one's I've used have been the type with metal buckles that have a little metal rod that holds the belt in place with friction. I've always found these difficult to adjust and often hard to get undone. This buckle, despite it being plastic, snaps down hard and locks the belt into place, but just requires a little tug on the loose end of the belt to quickly undo it. I know it's still new, but so far I'm not seeing any signs of wear. Leather belts usually start to stretch and deform with only a couple of days of wearing. This one, on the other hand, still looks exactly as it did when I took it out of the package.

These style of belts are my new favorite. I got in to these through security work and these will pass a metal detector easily. I now use this style of belt all the time. The material is tough and doesn't wear easily. It is designed to be refit easily if needed, as well. I've had a few of these from different sellers. This particular seller really impressed me by including a spare buckle in the package. I have yet to see one break but have worried about it happening. Getting the spare buckle in the package really made me feel more confident about it; even if I'll likely never need it.
