I use Uxcell brass inserts for all my 3d printed projects with more than one part. These inserts work very well and are easy to insert with a soldering. I do recommend getting a soldering iron brass adapter to use when inserting. These inserts take your 3D printed projects up another level. High quality, easy to use knurled heat inserts. These are the best kind that have the tapered nose so they don't make a mess and clog up when inserting them. Just make the holes the size of the nose and they'll work perfectly. They are the right size and length.

    • Used these to replace the anchors in a Sonic Mighty 4k plastic resin vat

I nearly replaced the entire vat because resin had worked its way into the threads of the screws and hardened - making it impossible to remove the screws without an extractor. Needless to say some of the anchors had to be replaced afterward. I used a soldering iron to carefully heat the old anchors and then pried them out - then used the iron to push these in. These are seemingly an exact match for the anchors that were already installed in the tank, so they worked perfectly. ... show more
