It was my first time trying this kind of art. I wanted to preserve my baby’s hospital band and ultrasound pic. It came out so beautiful. Smell of chemical is way too strong. Avoid if pregnant. Also dont forget to wear your gloves. It takes lot of time to settle so even if things are not as per your expectation you can place the way you want with little spatula provided.

I love everything about this picture mold kit! The mold measures 6 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3/4 inch deep which makes it perfect for smaller pictures like 3 x 5, 2 x 2, or 2 x 4 photos. To liven up the frame, this kit includes sparkling embeds and six shimmering mica powders. I used the gold and the green micas in my trial picture. The included stickers can also be used to preserve a treasured memory. The tweezers that come in the kit will make placing decorations much easier and more precise. The epoxy solutions, which list the ingredients, make a total of 16 ounces when combined. Since the mold has a volume of about 10 ounces, the solution will make 1 frame (or possibly two if not filled all the way). The uncolored resin cured crystal clear, and the frame hardened in under 3 hours on my heat mat (which was set to high). Three hours after the second pour (the green), I was able to remove the frame from the mold. The frame sits securely on a flat surface by itself. If I could give this kit 10 stars, I would!
