It's great considering the price, but the main problem with these speakers are the lack of options to play around with the sound settings without having to lift the speakers up and adjusting them from below. This can be quite annoying if you listen to a wide variety of music.

I'm using this subwoofer under my desk for PC audio along with a pair of Polk Audio 5JR Monitors connected to an Aiyima T9 Pro using the optical output on my PC. The system sounds amazing! Perfectly balanced with the rest of the Jamo 8 system. The bass response is in the Goldilocks zone - not too quiet, not overpowering, but just right. I like an integrated sound where no single part of the audible spectrum stands out when it’s not appropriate to do so and no part is missing. This unit also matches the Walnut finish on the rest of the system, so even if the subwoofer has to be visible it can look like a part of the system that isn’t just an add-on. Sub-woofers can add a lot to an audio system, whether it's a 2-channel system or a home video system. I wanted more bass, between 20 and 70 Hz, for my music listening pleasure. After trying and returning others, I settled on this modern, compact Sub from Klipsch, and happy I did. As with most Subs, you must dial it in via room placement, volume level, and crossover frequency. Once you have, it's unlikely you will need to change it again. The odd placement of the controls (on the bottom) can make the tweaking of this unit awkward, my only complaint. For a great value, try to catch it on sale. ... show more
