    • The shell is not tall enough
I have tried and returned a few iPhone covers. I don't intend to return this one but I am concerned that the side wall isn't tall enough and barely protrudes above the front surface of the phone. It seems to be sturdy but if dropped on its face on a hard surface, the phone screen could potentially crack due to the weight on the back of the case. It is a very attractive red case. I am lucky to have acrylic paint of the same red color and decided to paint the lip red of the curved black corners so that I can more easily spot the phone when the screen is black. It looks nice. I also bought camera protectors because that area, too, is flat and the cameras could crack if dropped. i had a red Five Below plastic case that had a rubber back, red frame with side walls that was sufficiently protruded above the front of the phone and the cameras. I dropped the phone a few times over a year, and it was perfectly protected even when the case cracked. The case is not sold anymore. I hope the manufacturers on Amazon improve the design to have better protections. ... show more

Another case of you get what you pay for. Works good as a case, it did protect my phone from many falls. But the magnet on the back isn’t powerful enough to keep it on a car mount during a bumpy ride. Also the ring in the back is not strong enough to hold your phone in an inclined position. Picture is old case that took a beating. Second time purchasing this case. My first one lasted over 2 years and several drops. It is not too heave, easy for me (older) to pop off case and pop phone back in. Like the raised edge just above face of my phone that protected the screen from getting cracked when I have dropped it.
