This company does not offer or stock replacement covers for their futon mattress. My futon cover was damaged by the family dog not long after I purchased it. Please pass along to all Amazon customers that if they ever need a replacement cover JamDok will never be able to provide them. Update: Hello JAMDOK Customer Support Team - Earlier this month (January 2026), I posted a review expressing my disappointment that JanDok was unable to ship me a replacement cover for a JamDok Memory Foam Futon Mattress that I had purchased in the third quarter of 2025. The original cover had become damaged by a pet dog with very sharp toenails who had visited my home. WELL, IT WOULD APPEAR THAT I WAS A BIT TOO HASTY IN POSTING THAT REVIEW! OVER THE PAST 10 DAYS, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM AT JAMDOK REACHED BACK TO ME AND HAS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB! MY DAMAGED COVER HAS NOW BEEN REPLACED! The reasons why I decided to purchase the JamDok Memory Foam Futon Mattress in the first place, are as follows: 1.) Appearance. The styling of the mattress cover stood out from all of the other products I looked at. 2.) Comfort. After removing the JamDok Memory Foam Futon Mattress from the original box and allowing it to expand for a couple of days, I can tell you it was the most comfortable futon mattress I ever slept on. 3.) Compressed Mattress for Shipping. It was so nice not having to carry a full sized mattress upstairs in my house. The fact that it shipped compressed made it very easy for me to get the mattress into my house and upstairs to the room where it resides now. 4.) Removeable Cover. The fact that the JamDok Memory Foam Futon Mattress provided a removable cover which could be washed was very important to me. This mattress is very comfortable... much more comfortable than you'd expect for a futon mattress. As the description indicates, the two halves of it differ slightly, so its a little odd to sleep in the middle because you can (just barely) notice the difference in the halves. But this is well worth the added comfort you get when you use it as a couch. If you were looking for something as a full time bed for one person (who would sleep in the middle), you may want to look elsewhere. But it you're looking for something that's primarily for a couch, and an occasional guest bed, and you want your guests to be comfortable, this is the way to go!

Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size mattress (entirely my fault) and had to return this one. I explained to the seller that it was already opened and fully expanded, making it difficult to ship and return. This seemed to be no problem with the seller, because they were still able to process my refund! I wish I was able to keep this mattress though. The memory foam is extremely comfortable to rest on, and the cover is very soft. You can really tell the difference between the firm side and the soft side of the mattresses, so you can sleep on whichever side you prefer, while the firm side will provide more durability on the seated side of the futon. I highly recommend this mattress and this company!

I became very nervous once we started shopping for a futon mattress. We had one in the past and loved it. But now it seemed like so many were labeled as lumpy and uncomfortable. Definitely not what I wanted. We finally decided on this one, and I LOVE IT!! It’s so comfortable, everyone who sits in it mentions that. It was a great purchase, and I would recommend it to others. If there was any negative about it, I would say that the material of the cover seems to pick easily. The prongs on my engagement ring seem to be a big culprit.
