Ok…what do I say about this? EXPENSIVE! Holy crap but I bought it anyway. I’ve tried 4 different filter units to help with the dog hair problem that Golden Retriever’s are known for and nothing has worked until I received this, the J888 is a big machine and heavy but the fact that it has filters on both sides and 2 yes I said it, 2 Fans pulling air through the filters mean that you are getting superior coverage and use from your filters. For instance say you have a 12X24” filter and 1 12” fan you will only use a 12” diameter hole of the filter, wasting everything else, sure it might filter through the unused areas after the 12” diameter hole is plugged up but that’s not efficient use of filter media and electrical energy. Now following the same theory of a 12X24” filter with 2(TWO) 12” fans you are filtering through 24” diameter of air thereby utilizing almost all the filter media, that’s jumped up smarts there folks. After reading everything and going down the rabbit hole as I always do(I’m retired what else am I gonna do being disabled? LOL) I could see the value in this set up. Ok got it delivered and it’s a heavy bugger, flip the box over and open from the bottom then flip it back upright and just lift the box off to reveal this beauty of engineering. A little bit of styrofoam to deal with and it rolls around on my wood floors like it’s on glass(nice caster wheels) PERFORMANCE: Now I would not say this is a miracle air filter machine but it’s worked so much better than anything else I’ve had and it’s so quiet at it’s highest setting. I think if I move the 3 appliances around in my room for a more circular air flow pattern ending at the filter it would work that much better, otherwise I can see it pulling in hair and when I clean the covers and filters the proof that it’s working is real. Now I don’t know about all the people who say that it’s cured their Asthma, stuffy noses, sinus problems, and bakes them warm chocolate chip cookies in the morning, but me and my wife have not seen any effects to those matters…but I’ve never had problems with dander allergies or any allergies at all, my mom used to drag us through dirt, mud, dirty canal water and very questionable biological water sources, and we farmed, I don’t know how may gallons of canal water I swallowed into my system from suck starting irrigation pipes 3 days a week 102 pipes each time as a young boy. We ate everything and anything if it was deemed edible by my mom no questions asked and no F’s given. Being poor made you tough and you did not have the opportunity to say “ewe i don’t want to eat that food” The only time in my life I experienced any kind of sinus problems is when I built my first house and it was next to miles of empty dusty windy fields, when I sold it my problems went away. I brush my Golden fully morning and night to help with the hair and also have a deshedding machine I use on occasion so that might be something that’s working in my favor. This filter is a definite keeper it was designed and engineered in the USA (I BLEED RED,WHITE,AND BLUE NO APOLOGIES COMING FROM ME! ) but it’s built over in the European area which by rights is still ok because their manufacturing machinery is normally state of the art, unlike Asian manufacturing which uses older machinery bought from other countries that have been deemed to cost prohibitive to keep around or new manufacturing practices are introduced…but there’s nothing wrong with that at all, they do and can put out some fantastic products, just look at the cars they make, the only thing I see wrong from those economies is there are too many companies making junk that make the good honest companies look bad, it’s a sad reality to be sure. My back ground is Mechanical Engineering earned the hard way and I’ve worked mostly with top of the line German equipment and with some equipment coming from the same region and Italy. I’m am going to try another brand that is supposedly the magic mystery machine and see if it’s the real deal or not. I would be surprised if you actually read all of this and if you did, thank you so much for reading the rambling of an old man up late at night bored writing this review of mine. CHEERS!!!!

JF888 AIR purifier so far works as it should we can smell the difference in how the house smells we leave in Auto mode whenever it has to clean the air the machine comes on at a higher level especially when my wife is cooking. We love the JF888 AIR Purifier, Looking to purchase The new product JF008 With AMBIENT LIGHT for bathroom, And other rooms.
