I lost my 6mm ratchet wrench from my set and wanted to get a replacement. I saw this JAEGER brand ratchet wrench and for the price, I thought I'd take a chance. I was able to pick it up for under 5$ and I must say, for it's quality, fit and finish, this wrench totally impressed me. First off, the wrench is made well and looks to be very durable. The chrome finish is flawless and it is true to it's size. The ratcheting end action is smooth and has an etched arrow on each side to show the direction to either tighten or loosen. I have been using these for a year and a month now. For the price, you really can't beat the quantity and quality. I wrench on things daily and these wrenches have not given me any issues. I really like the fact that it's a complete set and the warranty is amazing. "Lifetime warranty, no questions asked" is the best warranty a company can offer. In my several years of wrenching on things, I have found that a warranty such as this either means one of two things: 1) The product is so cheaply made that the company can offer to replace them when they break with no impact to their finances. 2) The product is so well made that the company doesn't have to offer replacements very often. I read several reviews of this set of wrenches along with several other competitors before I made my purchase and I can say that I am thoroughly impressed with the wrench set and happy with my purchase. These wrenches are a quality product and for an amazing price. I would recommend them to anyone and buy them again myself if I ever needed to. ... show more

This Jaeger 26-piece ratcheting wrench set is a good value overall. The TIGHTSPOT design works well in tight spaces, and having both SAE and metric coverage in one set is convenient. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and the build quality feels solid for the price point. The wrenches grip fasteners well and the ratcheting action has held up through regular use in my shop and on various projects. The case keeps everything organized, though it's a bit bulky for mobile work. I'm knocking off one star for a couple reasons: First, the box end would be much more useful if it were offset. The straight design limits access in some situations where an offset would shine. Second, the 8mm ratchet feels kind of weird—the mechanism doesn't feel as smooth or confidence-inspiring as the other sizes. Not sure if it's just mine or a design issue, but it's noticeable. Despite these minor issues, this is still a good set that gets the job done. For the money, you're getting a lot of functional tools. Just be aware of those quirks going in.
