I did a lot of research before settling on the Jackery products. Others have left extremely detailed product reviews and testimonials about the various product’s performance, exceptional customer service from Jackery etc, nothing I can add on that front. Having a background in manufacturing, I can confirm the 1000 v2 is a well built unit, same goes for the 100 watt bi-fold solar panels, the 200 Watt panel is arriving today, more on that. Aside from all of the technical aspects of the product, quality of the product, customer service, warranty (all good) the most perplexing issue is the pricing, packages offered, where to buy, Amazon, Jackery direct or other retailer. Pricing on these Jackery products is all over the place and the packages offered can be confusing. Both Amazon and Jackery direct offer the same packages but there can be significant cost differences depending on the sale, discounts etc. For example, Jackery may offer the 1000 v2 with the two 100 watt panels for X, Amazon offers the same packages but at checkout there may be an additional 10-18% discount. Both packages I bought through Amazon shipped directly from Jackery, although different locations. The generators both shipped from GA, the solar panels shipped from NJ. One package I bought with the 1000 v2 and two 100 watt panels($702 out the door)), the other package was the 1000 v2 and the single 200 watt panel($637.22 out the door) So far I have found the best prices to be through Amazon using my Amazon business account. Currently, if purchased individually, Amazon has the 1000 v2 listed at $379 and the SolarSaga 200 watt panel at $360, it was a better deal to buy the package. The single 100 watt panel is listed at $198, much cheaper to buy the 2 panel + generator package. And these prices are before taxes, the package pricing I gave above were out the door including taxes, no shipping cost from Amazon or Jackery direct. It’s a bit of a game, look at all of the pricing closely on both Amazon and Jackery, Jackery does offer some discounts for first time purchases, bundles etc. Still, I found the best prices through Amazon. ... show more

Although heavy, it carries easily and charges quickly - and then lasts for days & days. After 3 days of use, for example, charging my devices, powering a fan in my car, etc., it still had 50% left. Very easy to figure out how to use, get status of charge, etc. I bought a carrying case for it as well, which protects it from the elements. both inside and outside your dwelling or vehicle. ... show more

Wow! Very well built with quality materials… (haven’t used yet) If it works as well as it looks; we’re all set (I did buy it because of all the good reviews…) The solar panel is very substantial and definitely looks and feels waterproof! IP68 (Not just resistant)… The power unit itself is surprisingly light (23.8 lbs compared to 40-50 lbs for a typical 12V car battery)) for all the power it has at 1070Wh/1500W… Very impressed with the quality on both units; even the cables are great quality… (for reference; I should factory automation equipment for 20 years) Fantastic value for the money! update - power station came in 28% charged and in around an hour with the AC cord method, it’s now 69% charged… I did not activate the 1-hour “emergency mode”. ... show more

I purchased this for short term back-up power for running my Harmon i52 pellet stove during power outages until my generator was up and running. This to keep the exhaust fan working. Tested it out and easily hooked up and powered the pellet stove. Let run about 30 minutes pulling 280 to 300 watts. Plenty of time to hook up a generator. Exhaust fan and auger worked. Very pleased. I play golf professionally and live out of the car during tournaments. This thing is perfect for charging my laptop, camera, drone, and can power my espresso machine in the morning. I just throw it on my 12v in my car in between uses to charge the battery (all be it slowly) Definitely recommend!

Sometimes I wonder if the people who design these kinda things ever actually use them out in the real world. I’m happy with the power station. But these solar panels are poorly designed for the real world. In the real world the planet turns n the sun is in different spots in the sky throughout the day. ( crazy I know ) If the panels had one plug in port on each side it would make them less frustrating but an even better upgrade would be grommets or ringlets whatever you want to call them… install some extra ones.. maybe between each panel? Top n bottom so they can be easily secured. In the real world there is wind n it gets exhausting picking these things up off the ground over n over n over. ... show more
