This was an excellent find as a like new, refurbished model. It even had the protector on the small LED screen. The only thing that was missing was a pretty box. This has worked great on recently camping trips to recharge small devices like lamps, camera batteries and cell phones, as well as larger items like a laptop. One night I even left my laptop lugged in as well as a LED lantern both running and it only used about 65% of the unit's charge over the 8-9 hours of use. Replenishing the charge in the unit was a breeze, just had to plug it into my vehicle's 12V outlet while driving around and within a few hours was back to 100%. The size and weight on this Jackery is great, it's quite portable and doesn't take up much space. It will also be nice to have around the house for any power outage or needing to power a small device on the deck or in the garage with no wall plug around. I was concerned that going with the smaller Jackery was going to cost me some capabilities, but after speaking to some friends that got rid of theirs in favor of a larger unit, now regret that choice and wish they had the small unit back to take back and forth where needed while leaving the larger one in their vehicle. I'm very glad that I made the investment and even happier that I was able to get this like new refurbished unit at nearly 50% of the price of a new one. The item came with the standard Amazon return policy and there was no restock fee, so that overcame any hesitation about buying refurbished. Aside from the plain box packaging, I would not have known this was not a new unit when unboxing.

I bought this to power my Traeger for family cookouts on an undeveloped piece of land we own. I had taken my generator, and it was so loud in that peaceful environment that it literally disturbed our peace. In looking for a smaller, quieter generator, I came across this on Amazon. This is perfect for running the Traeger, and it also charges phones, laptops, or any other electronics. I also have subsequently used it to charge 40v batteries for cordless chainsaws and weed eaters. The small size and lightweight characteristics make it awesome in comparison to any generator. Also, unlike a generator, this is incredibly easy to use. You can plug it in and keep it plugged in to a wall outlet so that it's fully charged when you need it. It will recharge while charging, and also includes a charging cable for a cigarette lighter. This will also charge off of a solar panel, which I plan on getting soon. If you do outdoor stuff and use a generator, look into this.

HAve been pleased with this so far after using a handful of times over several months. Seems to work as advertised. I bought a second one for flexibility. I like having a couple of smaller ones for portability vs. the larger heavier models. Just pay attention to the spec's so you'll know if they are capable of handling your needs.

This is a very good, low capacity, battery for camping and day trips. This is a 293wh battery source. many of the negative complaints I see is that people have unrealistic expectations for this battery. This is not a deep cell marine battery. This is designed for very light loads for very short period of time. Such as charging cell phones or powering small speakers. I have used this to fill an air mattress or camping. It did well for this, but did end up taking almost 30% of the power available. For small power needs, this is an excellent product. If you have more demanding needs, you will need to purchase a larger capacity battery. I have had this now for about five months. I’ve used it multiple times camping. The bill quality is excellent. The LED screen works well and has had no issues. It charges easily and quickly. It can be charged using 120 V, a cigarette lighter attachment for the car, or solar panels. The solar panels are sold separately, but the product did come with both 120 V and 12 V charging attachments.

I have been tinkering for some time pairing (much less wattage) LiFePo 12v10aH batteries with USB dash mounts, 12v SAE & lighter plugs paired with 150w inverters usually a mess in a tub of almost usable in non existent extreme situations. TIME FOR AN UPGRADE? My Refurbished grab bag chance came what I would call NEW but as the new price dropped the following week, that may explain that. Size wise? Well let's be honest there is very little the modern home or glamper is going to use it for that is cost effective or long duration even at 4x the price/capabilities. So price per watt and reasonable expectation wise at a size & weight not unreasonable to pack along, it is in a sweet spot. Primary perks for me were pass through charging & dual solar + USB-C charge capabilities. (WARNING you will need an off brand 12v capable USB-C solar output to utilize that feature off grid. It won't double the charge in itself but bumping a hand full of watts is priceless. The lame experiment (Duh, at much over cost of current grid electrical) can I charge a 36v 15aH (over 500aH but within specks @ ex: 42v 2a 120v ebike charger = 85aH & down inverter draw) with this AND a 100w panel on a SUNNY mid day? (Answer: You can but ONLY if you go off label with a FlexSolar 100w (w/USB-C 12v 60w dual mode capabilities. 800ish aH need is a lot to expect from a mere 280is aH device without a lot of solar help) Otherwise charging phones or running led lighting & smaller 120v devices for limited periods vs tub of wannabe spare parts for the expected 2x the cost and 2x the capacity at half the weight of the tub of loose stuff, it's a win win. Sure not as repairable as a tub of junk but "oops I forgot" wise it's priceless. Built in MPPT charger eliminates another pile of lesser stuff. Assuming you can believe what it is telling me, I have toyed with a lot of PWM and even MPPT loose charge controllers. THIS alone seems to maximize optimum & non optimal solar sunlight charging. Built in MPPT utilization on any panel was an unexpected bonus as well. Just be reasonable on what it can and can not run for how long. Portable with multiple features in a tiny footprint and reasonable price point is what it offered to ume. Dual (in our case solar simultaneous) charge capable is why we went with at least the 300 model here. Name recognition/reputation the other.
