  • Easy & Fast Setup and very efficient
Style: HomePower 3600 Plus+2x200W
I’m very happy with this solar power backup. Very easy to setup with the Jackery app. 2 days after purchase I had a 7 hr. Power outage at home for electrical repairs. The 3600 plus worked to my expectations. It powered my kitchen refrigerator freezer, garage freezer and my WiFi modem, router and security system and cameras. It only used 18% of stored power. It is very quiet when charging even in fast mode. It is very heavy at 77 lbs. however, it has wheels and gets around easily like a roll aboard suitcase. The solar panels are great but also heavy and setup easily on the ground. This system can be easily upgraded for more storage and could then handle whole home battery backup. ... show more

  • Good value. Lots of cords and cables needed to run everything. Slow charge on solar.
Style: HomePower 3600 Plus+2x200W
This is a nice system. Holds the power if off for months with no drain. I can run the direct vent fireplace on it for heat (using a grounding plug) as well as a fridge and freezer, led bulb lamp and internet box and charge devices for over 24 hours. Haven’t really tried the solar panels. I put the solar panels out in Wisconsin winter sun and only got about 100w per panel. Enough to make up for some drain but would take forever to charge the whole thing at this rate. They are quite awkward. I am happy to have them as a backup though. You do need longer cables to run the panels. Can be used as a UPS for computers and sump pump while plugged into wall. Love the wheels and the handle. Moves like heavy rolling luggage. Charges very fast when plugged in. You could charge with a gas generator (which I think would be the best for a longer term outage) or bring it to a place with power and charge in 1-2 hours and return and put it back to work. ... show more

  • Great product!

  • One phone app tweak away from outstanding
Style: HomePower 3600 Plus+2x200W
The tweak: PLEASE fix the app to notify me when solar charging falls below a number I specify, like 50W. That way we can tell of panels blew over, or the sun has "moved" behind a building. As is now, you have to keep checking if there's generation - although Bluetooth and WiFi are great, you still are required to frequently check. That should not be necessary. Please fix the app. Now the rest of the product review: everything seems as advertised, stout and high quality. The only drawback is proprietary connectors. Why? Why? If you use solar, you might start as I did with a pair of 200W to "learn the ropes". The Solar Sagas (included in my purchase) work as advertised. But a pair of 200W still take "forever" (at least 10 hours of nearly perfect sun) to charge 0 to 100% (though you might aim to use AC power to always stay in 70 to 85%). The point is that if you're fully dependent on solar (in woods, or power outage) you're highly likely to use up the 3000W (85% of 3600) real darn quickly (e.g. max of 2 hours of continuous room A/C use or 2 hours continuous 1500W heater, not counting refrigerator and other essentials). So you're going to need a ton of solar to even hope to keep up - and possibly will wish you had 3 of these, and many hundreds of watts of panels. Strong suggestion: aim for big 500W panels. The Jackery mechanism to "daisy chain" panels in series is stupidly expensive. Just get 2 big 500W panels and run 2 lines to the 2 D.C. inputs. (Tonto makes a more affordable extension cable BTW. If you keep the unit indoors, by a window, you are VERY likely going to want extension. $40 currently for a 5 M extension from Jackery.) ... show more

  • ready if needed
Style: HomePower 3600 Plus+2x200W
I hope I never have to use it but it is a comfort to know its available. It was easy to set up - just unpack it and plug it in. Charging was really quick. The solar panels are quite heavy but that's what husbands are for. The main unit is very easy to move even though it also is quite heavy but it has an extendable handle like a suitcase. ... show more

  • Great accessory and peace-of-mind
Style: HomePower 3600 Plus+2x200W
Very easy to set up and charge with the panels. Gives us more peace-of-mind during our next power outage! Love the capacity to run our fridge and other critical electronics. Very heavey but easy to pull on it's wheels, like carry-on luggage.

  • Jackery 3600 is hands down wonderful!
Style: HomePower 3600 Plus+2x200W
This is literally running my house right now. It was winter and husband has become ill, and I needed a source other than his battery banks which were not working. I am very pleased with this. I only have it running my lights in the house and my router which runs my tablet or a computer. Lasts almost 48 hours before it needs recharge and it charges from 30% to 100% and just about three hours maybe four hours if he’s charging something else. I plan to add onto it. Somebody told me today that it only runs for two years but it says it will run for 10. I’m hoping for the 10 or close. I have a little Jack that runs my tablet when everything runs out, (I am totally off grid) which is what prompted me to get the big Jack. It was a little heavier than I anticipated. Husband had to pick it up and put it in the back of the car and it said that it was 70 pounds which was a little more than a little old man can lift, but he managed to get it in there. If he would’ve known he could’ve come up with an alternative lifting help. But overall hugely happy and I’ll be buying more of these. I might add I did get it on sale which was still $3000. But it was a gift for my husband who I suspect is running toward Alzheimer’s. This is going to help me a lot and keep our house going when all else fails. I might add here that I don’t run a refrigerator or any other major electronics. No microwave or anything like that. If I was going to run things like that, it might’ve gone for the more wattage option. ... show more
