I’m very happy with this solar power backup. Very easy to setup with the Jackery app. 2 days after purchase I had a 7 hr. Power outage at home for electrical repairs. The 3600 plus worked to my expectations. It powered my kitchen refrigerator freezer, garage freezer and my WiFi modem, router and security system and cameras. It only used 18% of stored power. It is very quiet when charging even in fast mode. It is very heavy at 77 lbs. however, it has wheels and gets around easily like a roll aboard suitcase. The solar panels are great but also heavy and setup easily on the ground. This system can be easily upgraded for more storage and could then handle whole home battery backup.

Good value. Lots of cords and cables needed to run everything. Slow charge on solar.

This is a nice system. Holds the power if off for months with no drain. I can run the direct vent fireplace on it for heat (using a grounding plug) as well as a fridge and freezer, led bulb lamp and internet box and charge devices for over 24 hours. Haven’t really tried the solar panels. I put the solar panels out in Wisconsin winter sun and only got about 100w per panel. Enough to make up for some drain but would take forever to charge the whole thing at this rate. They are quite awkward. I am happy to have them as a backup though. You do need longer cables to run the panels. Can be used as a UPS for computers and sump pump while plugged into wall. Love the wheels and the handle. Moves like heavy rolling luggage. Charges very fast when plugged in. You could charge with a gas generator (which I think would be the best for a longer term outage) or bring it to a place with power and charge in 1-2 hours and return and put it back to work.

Important item to have in case the power goes out

Love it so far. I have not got full use out of it yet. Power went out and I was able to plug in a few things until the power came back on. Basically what I purchased it for very easy to charge very easy to set up. Good thing it has wheels. It is heavy as you know what. So far so good. Maybe I will update later.

States it will work on most whole house. It will only power what you can plug into it. Fridge upstairs, freezer downstairs or in the garage, pain in the backside. Lot of additional work if furnace is to be used.

Jackery 3600 is hands down wonderful!

This is literally running my house right now. It was winter and husband has become ill, and I needed a source other than his battery banks which were not working. I am very pleased with this. I only have it running my lights in the house and my router which runs my tablet or a computer. Lasts almost 48 hours before it needs recharge and it charges from 30% to 100% and just about three hours maybe four hours if he’s charging something else. I plan to add onto it. Somebody told me today that it only runs for two years but it says it will run for 10. I’m hoping for the 10 or close. I have a little Jack that runs my tablet when everything runs out, (I am totally off grid) which is what prompted me to get the big Jack. It was a little heavier than I anticipated. Husband had to pick it up and put it in the back of the car and it said that it was 70 pounds which was a little more than a little old man can lift, but he managed to get it in there. If he would’ve known he could’ve come up with an alternative lifting help. But overall hugely happy and I’ll be buying more of these. I might add I did get it on sale which was still $3000. But it was a gift for my husband who I suspect is running toward Alzheimer’s. This is going to help me a lot and keep our house going when all else fails. I might add here that I don’t run a refrigerator or any other major electronics. No microwave or anything like that. If I was going to run things like that, it might’ve gone for the more wattage option.

Have used it for charging tools and a battery charger to charge a vehicle battery. The cables to solar panels could be longer, but there is a source for that on line. I'm well satisfied with this product.

Highly recommended for peace of mind!

With the series of bad storms in the northeast, my wife and decided this was a cost effective way to keep our refrigerator going in case of power outages. It’s heavy, but the heavy duty wheels and telescoping handle makes it easy to move around in our home. We tested it and it supported our 30-yr old (NOT energy efficient) refrigerator for 24 hours using less than 50% of its capacity. We then ran it down powering several lights and it only took two hours to recharge from 0% to 100%. So we know we can support our fridge for 4+ days if we leave the fridge closed and power it up only every few hours if we need to. With blizzard earlier this week, we were SO happy we had this and slept SO much better knowing it was here and ready to go. It has plenty of outlets and the supplied AC power cord is a convenient length.

Mixed bag

After 5 months of daily use living full-time on the road, I have to say it's a mixed bag. The solar saga panels are a disappointment. They are already falling apart. Even if you spend all day repositioning them in perfect sunlight, they typically produce 150 watts per panel if you're lucky. As for the Home 3600, it's a powerhose when it comes to handling large loads and surges. I run my entire travel trailer off it with no problems. 8 don't even need to use the 30 amp plug. I can run a standard AC cord out of one of the normal 110 outlets with an adapter to my 30 amp trailer plug. Still can from my 1100-watt ac unit, 700-watt microwave and my TV all at the same time. I can charge from zero to full unless than two hours I'd I have land power working in conjunction with my solar panels. By land power, I also mean a dual-fuel gas generator I also travel with. Might seem redundant to still have a gas generator, but sometimes you don't have access to land power and conditions often do not lend themselves to using solar. With this, I can bank the power in the Jackery so my generator doesn't have to run all day. Typically if I run my generator for an hour. I can bank all the energy I will need for 24 hours on a typical day unless it's 100 degrees and I need to run my AC all day. The generator I use is only 1500 watts, but used in conjunction with the Home 3600's 3600-watt constant power, it doesn't matter because the rig is getting it's power from the Jackery and not the generator. This means you can buy a much smaller, cheaper, quieter generator than if you just had a gas generator running your entire rig. The generator I got was only $300 on Amazon and I made sure it was dual fuel so it could run on propane. That means I don't have to tote messy, stink gasoline. The downside of the 3600 is no cig lighter outlet and minimal DC options outside of the USB ports. It's vertical design is a bit awkward to store while traveling. I had to buy a smaller unit so I could run my ICECO cooler/freezer on DC power. If you attempt to run a fridge and Starlink on AC power in your rig, it will suck the energy like you won't believe. Love that it's expandable to fit my energy needs. I could run my AC unit for roughly 3 hours nonstop just with this unit. That would obviously double with the expansion pack. So you would need 2 to run it all day. That's if you never shut it off. I sometimes need to do that to keep my pets safe if I leave them in the trailer to go work or someplace else for several hours. You could do it with that setup though. 3 stars because the solar panels are bad and you can find better brands with adapters. Plus the lack of DC is a major design flaw.
