I've tried a variety of web cameras, some less and some more expensive that this one. I already have a Jabra headset and Jabra speaker for online meetings, so I decided to go with a Jabra camera. It's heavy and well made. I like the stableness of it sitting on top of the monitor; some of the other cameras I've tried seemed to sit precariously. Overall, I'm very pleased. We use panacast 50’s at work and these are an amazing alternative for travel or on the go. They give the same video and image quality of the 50 but are super convenient and come with a travel case. Build quality is stellar with metal construction and they feel heavy duty.

I really wanted to like this camera. I bought it for the auto-zoom features. However, the auto zoom puts the head at the very top of the picture (and as a result shows the microphone on my desk, which I don't like) and the head is too small. There should be a simple setting. I want the head in this location and that size. Then when moving the picture should adjust accordingly. But Jabra thinks it knows better how much space the head should take up in the picture and where it should be placed. The camera also gets very hot. There must be a lot of processing going on in the camera (I would have thought that's done at the computer level). Unfortunately, I had to send it back. ... show more

This product does get very hot while you have it plugged into a USB port. Not sure if that is normal or not as I have not reached out to the manufacturer yet. For the high price, you are getting a very nice and powerful webcam. That being said I would say the webcam works pretty well for twitch streaming if needed as well as at home conference calls. I ended up getting this for working at home during the peek covid times and now for when I work from home. This device will work with any computer and MAC without needing to install a drive which is nice. They automatically detected it. There is no driver installation required on either, but you may want to install the software to get the most out of the device. The web cam started working in less than a minute. I tried it with windows 7, 8.1, and 10 and they all work just fine. I also tried it with high sierra, mojave, and catalina and it worked just fine for the most part. The camera was able to default and work right away. There is software included if you wish to use those to better enhance your webcam experience but I never used them. The overall camera design look is nice and it wider so it gives you a clear picture without the ghosting effect when you move around. I would say it runs pretty well for facetime and zoom conferences. You are definitely getting better quality and extremely clear pictures over the other devices of this kind. It makes good adjustment to clear up the picture. There is no camera shutter on this so you cannot close the camera off. Also there is not much adjustment capability on this compared to other camera. The angle is pretty much set unless you awkwardly place it. The next thing about this is that the microphone by default is pretty clear. The microphone can pick up my voice in the room from afar if I need to step away from the camera a few feet to grab some papers. This webcam can be mounted to the top of your monitor but again you do not get as much adjustment capability. It is fairly secure and easy to adjust although make sure you have enough slack when mounting the webcam. If you happen to be pulling on the cable it is not easy to move the camera which is a positive with not being able to adjust the angle as much. The cable length is long enough to reach from my computer monitor to the laptop we use for conference calls which is about two feet away and still has some slack left. The cable is also sturdy so you do not have to worry about it breaking or fraying. One thing to note is that the device is that the device front is a smooth finish so it can be scratched pretty easily. There is a simple light indicator on top of the lens to show if the webcam is on or not. The picture quality I would say is 1080p and transmitting quality is going to be dependent on your internet speed. Honestly for the price you are paying for this camera, it is really good quality. It does auto focus so you do not have to do that, nor is there a way to manually focus on the camera itself. The microphone sound again is pretty clear but you can adjust accordingly as needed. Overall I think this camera is great for what you need it to do. It does a good job for me during facetime and work meetings. The microphone picks up my voice pretty well with very little background noise. It also works great with twitch streaming which is a plus for me. ... show more
