  • Sound Quality, noise cancellation, range
Size: USB-C Dongle Style: All Platforms Pattern: Charging Cord
This is what I have been missing in the world of wireless headsets for work. I have had multiple bluetooth headsets. Many have been junk. The Galaxy Plus Buds are the best ear buds I have tried, but the sound is just ok, and the range is weak beyond 15-20 feet or around a corner from my laptop. I am not a huge fan of over the ear headsets, my ears feel hot after a while, but this headset makes it well worth the inconvenience. Just Awesome -The bluetooth dongle for these makes a huge difference on sound and range. It's an order of magnitude better. -The "hear through" button allows you turn off noise cancelling and hear your surroundings, and how loud you talk -Sound quality (with the dongle) sounds like a wired headset, far better than normal bluetooth -37 hours of battery life :) -Connect to both my phone and computer at the same time Priceless -10 mics for cancelling out my kids and dog in the background ... show more

  • Great headphones and service...not so great computer
Size: USB-C Dongle Style: All Platforms Pattern: Charging Cord
These headphones are really comfortable and well made. I can tell the noise cancellation is really good. My only problem is the fact that I have what Apple describes as an "old" Mac from 2019 which was not compatible with the bluetooth dongle and Vonage VOIP. Vonage says the headphones are compatible so I really whittled it down to my computer. The service folks at Jabra were very helpful and patient with me as we tried to troubleshoot. In any case, I just wanted to say that they are great quality and wished they had worked with my "old" Mac. As long as you confirm VOIP compatibility, buy with confidence. ... show more

  • Terrible for calls! No sidetone while using ANC because "customers don't need ANC while on calls".
Size: USB-C Dongle Style: All Platforms Pattern: Charging Cord
To start, I've used my Jabra Evolve 80 for many years, and I love them. They recently broke, and I needed an upgrade. I finally landed on the Jabra Evolve2 85 since they are supposedly the latest and greatest flagship model from Jabra, and I wanted to try wireless headphones out. Let's start with the good, because it's a short list, and some of the many bad points are REALLY BAD. The Good - Decently comfortable (though slightly less than the Evolve 80s in my opinion) - ANC is ok (more on this in a minute) - Mic boom is nicely stowable and seems slightly better in physical design than the 80s - They look nice The Bad - ANC (active noise cancelling) and sidetone/hear through (where you can hear your voice a little in the headset) CANNOT BE USED TOGETHER. Seriously, wtf. The old Evolve 80s and almost every other Jabra headset can do this just fine. This is supposedly because they chose to put the sidetone/hear through mic on the earcup instead of the mic boom. They claim this is by design and intentional, but this is a bug, not a feature. This means you have two choices when on a call (arguably the time you most need noise cancelling). Option 1: Disable ANC and hear everything around you. You can BARELY hear your own voice even in this state, it's bad. Option 2: Enable ANC and not be able to hear yourself almost at all. It feels like I'm underwater. This alone is truly baffling. If I had known this going in, I never would have purchased this extremely expensive headset. ~$400 for me at the time of purchase. - Mic sounds notably worse than the Evolve 80s when I listen to recordings of myself. - The wireless connection randomly lags and glitches out for a few seconds many times a day, sometimes repeatedly in a short period. This is super distracting while listening to music. Seems like maybe it's CPU-based? I'm on a really powerful mac. I find this unacceptable. - The audio quality seems overall poor. Volume highs and lows while speaking seem really unpredictable and hard to get to a good spot. I find the louder people in calls irritating my ears a lot more than on my 80s when at a comparable volume setting. - The earcups do not seal well against my head unless I very specifically position them every time I put the headset on. I don't have this issue with the 80s. - Maybe it's a mac thing, but sometimes when I turn the headset on or take it off my head and put it back on, it will act like it's connected but no audio will play. I have to switch output devices back and forth to get it to work again. - The mic mute button is a small button near the end of the mic boom. This means to mute yourself, you have to fumble around with the mic boom and make loud noises that other people can hear. This is an awful design choice. Why not put it on the earcups like nearly everyone else does? Overall, I am extremely unhappy with these headphones. I can't believe it made it out of their company in its current state. I purchased a new pair of the older and cheaper Evolve 80s and will be returning these 85s as soon as I possibly can. ... show more

  • Could be better for sure... Not worth the price
Size: USB-C Dongle Style: All Platforms Pattern: Charging Cord
So they worked amazing for a couple months then they started not letting my microphone audio come through clear at all. I have a big head and the microphone stops right at my beard... amazing sound quality but could use more bass. the bluetooth range was amazing and they fit and felt amazing to wear on my big ole head. the adjustments are rather smooth and the headset doesn't weigh that much! ... show more

  • Next-Level Headphones Experience. Microphone is fragile.
Size: USB-C Dongle Style: All Platforms Pattern: Charging Cord
With all the bells and whistles on most modern technology, I got these headphones expecting to be disappointed by something. This was not the case. In fact, it did almost everything I expected it to do perfectly, and more. The microphone had the best quality of any other mic I've ever tried (including bose). Additionally, the noise rejection was superb. I could have someone talking right next to me and it wouldn't pick them up at all. If you're a remote worker or someone who makes a lot of calls for their job, your teammates will love these headphones. The active noise cancellation was excellent. On par with the pair of bose headphones I previously tried. They were just as comfortable. Sound quality wasn't quite as good, but still performed adequately. The in-call lights are awesome to have, especially when you're working with someone else in the room. Battery life is excellent considering all the stuff it's doing. After turning them on, they connect almost instantly. I've never had a set of bluetooth headphones connect so rapidly and smoothly. I could go on, but the short of it is that these headphones are a step or two above most of the others on the market--they aren't just trying to seem "premium". Update 2/13/26: While unfolding the microphone to take a call, the mic stem snapped. I am by no means rough on my stuff, and these headphones have been either on my desk or in their protective case at all times. Despite the great performance of everything else, it was surprising to me that the most important part of such an expensive set of headphones would be so fragile. I was quickly able to fix it with some super glue, but I am a little disappointed now. ... show more
