    • By far the best I’ve used for cycling
So happy I bought these! I’m an avid cyclist and I’ve used many headphones over the years. Cycling presents a couple of unique challenges for headphones: Wind Noise - always pretty deafening, which means to listen to anything (mostly audiobooks or podcasts for me), you have to crank the volume up to be able to hear over the wind noise Secure fit - I usually have to push them in further many times during a ride because ear buds tend to work themselves out as you ride - both for fear of them falling out but alway for the wind noise - it gets worse when not fully inserted Durability - Cycling is surprisingly rough on ear buds- they don’t last very long. Probably because of the sweat, the temperature swings (I ride through the winter) and the rain We’ll see how they do for durability, but they claim they are the toughest buds on the market. As for wind noise and fit, they are fantastic. They somehow stay firmly in place in my ears like no others that I’ve tried - without using any sort of earhooks. They just don’t move at all - which is great. Not once have i ever felt the need to push them in further during a ride. For wind noise, it is such a joy to have that substantially attenuated. Much better than the AirPod Pro’s (gone through 2 pairs) and the Soundcore Liberty 4’s I was using - all of which have failed in less than a year. I also have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM5’s, which are downright spooky in their ability to block out wind noise, but those are definitely not suited for cycling. It’s so nice to not have to crank up the volume to listen what I want to listen to! These are also the only earbuds I’ve ridden with where i could adjust the volume while riding. I love the feel of the buttons - they click, which I like more than the more common capacitive touch buttons on most others. Best app I’ve seen yet for any of my headphones. Sound quality is good, but definitely not in the same league as my Sony WF-1000XM5’s, but for cycling headphones I don’t care about that. Off the bike, I have a secondary use for these - to block out my wife’s snoring at night. They excel at that job as well - the noise cancelling is very powerful - not too far short of my Sony’s, but easily enough to block out the snoring. But the fit is a surprising benefit here as well as on the bike - i don’t have to worry at all about them falling out while im sleeping, which is not the case with any of my other earbuds. They are also supremely comfortable - i can barely even tell that I’m wearing them - which is a big deal if you intend to sleep with them. Lastly, battery life is excellent. With noise cancelling on, they easily make it through the night (which my AirPod Pro’s could not do). We’ll see how they hold up for durability, but if Jabra’s claims are true about these being the toughest earbuds around, they should hold up. The Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds have truly impressed me in every aspect. First and foremost, the sound quality is exceptional, easily matching or even surpassing what I experienced with the Galaxy Buds Pro 2. Whether I'm listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio is crystal clear and well-balanced. The fit is another standout feature. These earbuds sit comfortably and securely in my ears, which is essential for my active lifestyle. I no longer have to worry about them falling out during workouts or daily activities. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is also quite effective. It does a great job of blocking out background noise, making it easier to focus on what I'm listening to.     • Disappointing Quality and No Customer Support
I bought these headphones, and after only three months the right earbud stopped working. It simply went silent and never worked again. I tried every possible solution—resetting, following tutorial videos, and even contacting support—but nothing fixed the problem. I also attempted to contact the company to request a warranty, but it has been impossible to get any response. I reached out both through Amazon (the distributor where I purchased them) and directly to Jabra, yet I have received no answer or solution. My introduction to earbuds was in 2020 with the Sony wf-1000xm3. Amazing, but not long lasting. A year later I bought the wf-1000xm4's. One of the WORST decisions I made. Everything about these were worse than the previous model. Then, they had an update that DESTROYED the earbuds. I vowed to NEVER buy that brand ever again. Fast forward, 2024. I wanted to try earbuds again. What attracted me to the Jabra Elite 8 Active's was the fact that they're made for working out. Not only have I become a gym rat, but I sweat excessively during my workouts. The FIRST thing I noticed after unboxing them was the SOUND QUALITY! WOW! The bass is very well balanced and doesn't drown out the vocals, even at high volumes. ANC works properly as well, allowing me to isolate myself from what's going on outside of the earbuds. I love the fact that you have to press the earbuds for functions instead of tapping, because it avoids accidents and sweat doesn't cause unwanted interactions. Their comfortable design and light weight allows me to have these in my ears for long periods of time (yes, the battery life is amazing too!) without experiencing discomfort. If I only want to use one earbud, I have the option to use whichever one I want, instead of being forced to use a specific one. I honestly feel like they could charge more money for these, because their value outweighs what they charge imo. I'm so impressed with these that I bought my mother and my auntie some as well! I know they won't last forever, but when it's time to upgrade, I'll be looking at their lineup, no question. AND these aren't even the 2nd gen versions! I'm sold! And yes, I recommend. ... show more
