This is perfect for my 11-year-old daughter who is 59 inches tall. I am sharing that info because I ordered Large (not X-large), and I am glad I did. Ordered the medium for my 6 year old daughter. She LOVES IT! My 8 year old son uses it as well and it is a perfect size for him. If I estimated, I would say it is perfect for 6-10 year olds. Any older and I would recommend the Size Large or above.

Had gotten the large one for my grand daughter for her April birthday. Only thing she wanted for her birthday. Chose that size after reading the reviews and what others had purchased. It turns out she is really having trouble using it the way it should be used as she still seems to be too short for it and she’s afraid of getting hurt. That’s her, though. Just checked and realized that it is past the send back cut off time but was very happy with quality, etc but just needed to exchange it for the medium one so she can use it now for dance class. ... show more

I purchased this 24x26 octagon for my 6 year old who’s tall for her age. It’s great quality, nice colors (better than pictures) and I would recommended the product itself. It’s just too big for my daughter...plenty of room to grow.

I bought this for Christmas for my 6 year old daughter. She takes a tumbling class at a local facility, but really wanted to be able to practice her skills at home as well. This is the perfect size for her, with plenty of room to grow into it for a couple years to come I hope. Great quality.
