I ordered the 13-inch bag, and it suits my needs perfectly. I can fit a 14-inch MacBook Pro into the designated area, a thin-cased Nintendo Switch (model 1), an A6 bullet journal, a rather thick 10-pen case, and an Anker brick on top of everything while still being able to close the flap easily. My iPhone 15 Pro fits nicely into the front pocket. If I swap out my MacBook, I can also fit a 32oz Brita bottle in the bag. After many trials and errors, I’ve found this bag to be perfect for me.

This messenger bag is sturdy and well made. The stitching is strong and even. The main straps have metal devices on the buckles that snap into metal loops on the body of the bag; that means that to open and close the main compartment of the bag it isn't necessary to unbuckle the straps. One can just press the snap devices and release those, without moving the buckles. I mention that especially because I didn't notice it when I first looked at this bag on Amazon. I was going to reject this bag because of the hassle of having to buckle and unbuckle the straps any time I wanted to open it. You don't have to do that. The small compartment attached to the front of the bag doesn't have such a snap in device, so you do have to buckle it and unbuckle it. The bag has more compartments than was at first apparent. Many options to carry your stuff. If fully extended the sides are four inches deep, so fully stuffed the bag has a large capacity. It is made of stiff leather which is fairly heavy. In my opinion this is proper since a softer, more luxurious garment leather wouldn't hold up to the abuse that a briefcase is likely to get. If you want to soften it and preserve it a good leather conditioner would help; you should probably do that anyway since real leather can dry out and even sometimes crack when it gets old. Someone else mentioned that the bag smells. It does; it smells like the tanning chemicals, I think. Personally I don't find the odor to be very strong on my particular bag. I am downrating this item by one star because of what I consider a minor design flaw. The main straps appear to be longer than could ever be necessary even if the bag is fully stuffed. I suppose this might be used to strap something to the front of the bag, under the straps, but anything so held wouldn't be secure. As it is the overlong straps are going to dangle and get in the way. One could trim them, but they are stitched all the way around the edges- a nice detail- so of course I don't want to do that. All in all a very nice piece of luggage. I like it and I expect I'll get a lot of use out of it.

I was looking for a particle, in terms of size and use, an attractive, durable, multifunctional messenger bag that wasn't oversized and fit my needs after searching for a while I found this one. There is nothing more attractive than stressed leather and this one fits the bill it holds 2 books, a 10inch tablet plus accessories, a mini umbrella, a selfie stick/tripod, a portable power source, with interior zippered pockets, an adjustable strap, and doesn't look like a women's purse, no offense ladies, buy this item you won't be disappointed. It's far easier to carry and better looking than a backpack.

I just received this bag and I am pleased with the quality. The leather is nice, the stitching is slid and the findings are of good quality. There is still some stiffness, however, nothing a few good months of use and conditioner won't fix. There are some "blemishes" if that's what you want to call them, to me that is character. As to the smell some have reported, it's leather and it smells like leather. I'm very happy with the purchase. Only time will tell if the product ages as I'm expecting it to. I'm looking foward to using daily.

Bag is leather, but probably the cheapest quality on the market. On the verge of feeling like paper. The bag is for a college student or I would have returned immediately. Instead I debated and missed my window.

I travel a lot for my work on airplanes. I need luggage that is compact, easy to carry or move and will fit into overhead bins. the Jaald 15" leather messenger bag laptop case checks all the boxes. it is well designed and can hold not only my computer and accessories, but important papers and travel documents in separate compartments. I can usually place it on top of my carry on bag which enables others to use the storage bin more easily. I often receive compliments about it!

Been using the 15" bag for 1 week and the inside lining seam is already unravelling. The slider locks do not fully lock. I cannot open the front pocket with the top flap closed. The shoulder strap is permanently sewn onto the metal loops and cannot be removed requiring that I hold a wad of strap in my hand when carrying the bag by its handle. I am a college student looking for a non-backpack EDC and this bag is trash. The workmanship is poor, fasteners are substandard, and the functional design is very frustrating. Do not buy this bag.
