Description

VViViD's Ultimate features an Ultra-Gloss finish with a nano air-release that disappears after post-heating, eliminating the orange peel effect for a headlight finish comparable to paint. It includes a protective cap that stretches with the film during installation. Deep, paint-like gloss gives headlights and taillights a smooth, premium finish that elevates your vehicle’s style. High-transmission film delivers a sleek tinted look while helping preserve light output and visual clarity. Flexible, repositionable film conforms to curved lights, while the protective cap helps prevent scratches during installation. Micro air-release channels help remove bubbles for a faster, smoother dry installation and a clean, glass-like finish. Compare Super Light Smoke, Light Smoke and Dark Smoke side by side to find the ideal tint, clarity and style for your vehicle. Transform headlights or fog lights with a vibrant yellow finish that adds distinctive style while maintaining clear light visibility. Explore premium automotive tint films engineered for bold style, exceptional clarity and a smooth, professional finish. Most options on the market require you to pick between style and optimal safety. VViViD's Air-Tints are equipped with a transparent Ultra-Clear Acrylic Adhesive backing, that significantly lessens the clouding effect of the tint and offers highly superior light transmission. Why compromise? What surfaces can Ultimate Tints be applied to? Headlights, taillights, fog lights and other smooth automotive lighting surfaces. Is the film easy to install? Yes. The flexible film conforms to curves, and air-release channels help reduce bubbles. Does the tint affect light output? Light transmission varies by shade. Lighter options preserve more brightness than darker films. Are tinted lights legal everywhere? Regulations vary by location. Check local vehicle-lighting laws before installation. Is the film removable? Yes. It can be removed carefully without permanently changing the original light housing. Size: 12" x 7ft Color: Yellow Tint
Vivid is the only brand I'll use..i have used 3M but when we r talking money...VIVID wins all around..so I bought this clear yellow tint..i ran a strip across the top of my windshield looks sweet..but from the inside or up close there's all kinda of scratches and what looks like water marks..its not water marks but..idk if its bc its a clear color or what..i love how they have a protection layer on the top of the wrap..so it don't get all scrached up during the install well once I pulled off the thin layer of plastic on the top of the wrap all I seen was scratches I would really enjoy a refund so I can buy a different color I would never switch brands it would definitely be Vivid ... show more

  • Good for price
Size: 12" x 7ft Color: Light Smoke
Use these to tint tailights and they do the job well they also last a while about a year or two the only complaint I have is it’s a bit harder to manipulate this wrap compared to other besides that I would totally recommend for the price

  • Excellent Product!
Size: 12" x 7ft Color: Dark Smoke
This tint is awesome. It looks amazing, very glossy, with plenty of light visibility still from these LED lights. I'm very happy with the results. A heat gun is highly recommended. I would also check out some YouTube tutorial videos, if you're unfamiliar with the installation process (I watched quite a few myself). Update: I'm going to remove the dark smoke from the headlights, because I'm not getting nearly enough luminescence when driving at night—my headlights just aren't bright enough now. So, plan now is to peel off the dark smoke from the main portion of the headlight assemblies and wrap them in light smoke, then wrap only the upper, flat portion in dark smoke on top of the light smoke. Because of how bright my stock lights are, other oncoming drivers often flash their brights at me as if I have my brights on, when they're actually on dim, so, I do want some amount of decreased brightness... but this dark smoke is too much of a decrease. The light smoke should be perfect. Will update once I've put the light smoke on... Update: I peeled off the dark smoke and replaced it with the light smoke. Then, I laid out a cut line over the top of the light tint using the 3M knifeless tape, then wrapped the dark smoke over the top of the knifeless tape and then made my cuts. The result is light-smoked front door the headlights, with the top and outside portion fully dark. This should be perfect... Just have to test it at night to find out. ... show more

  • Discolors when stretching.
Size: 12" x 7ft Color: Light Smoke
After reading reviews, I had high hopes for this vinyl. I’ve used other Vvivid products and they have worked fine. I have also wrapped multiple vehicles in my life with Avery annd 3M products and have a decent amount of experience wrapping vehicles. I pulled the trigger on attempting to tint the tail lights on my 2020 Silverado 2500HD High Country. After successfully installing until I get to the top, it is impossible to get around that curve and lay it in one piece without creating fingers. I tried heat, no heat; tried to heat it up, letting it rest, still creased. I had to reapply heat with a bunch of tension to stretch the vinyl over that final corner. By the time I had it, the outside layer of protection was starting to peel. After cutting and removing the protective layer, there were some scratches, even though I was using a felt tipped squeegee. Stretching it caused weird discoloration on the vinyl and looked ugly. I ended up cutting another piece and tried it again; but ran into the same issue. I was trying to be very delicate this time, but you have to stretch it over this portion and the lines it creates looks cheap and horrible. After 2 failed attempts at the same spot, I ended up chucking the box of the rest of the vinyl across my yard. I’d stay away from this product, although it is thick, stretching will thin it out and cause discoloration, which looks funky. $20 is cheap but it was like wadding up that $20 and throwing it in the trash. I’m sure it’d work on flatter surfaces and be much easier to get it looking right, I could even just cut a piece and cover that area and do the rest of the tail light, in 2-pieces. Just wish someone had warned me that stretching the material would cause issues. ... show more

  • Not as advertised
Size: 12" x 7ft Color: Dark Smoke
Although it says it let's more light go through, if you get the dark smoke, it will diminish greatly the light passing through (legit makes my fog lights useless). Says you can heat it up without affecting the tint, but when doing the rear headlights of my 08 hyundai accent (relatively flat, no crazy curvature), it deformed the coloration and it is no longer uniformely black. Also, I don't know where is supposed to be the bubble releasing features because it was lowkey a pain in the ass to push out the bubbles that were forming with the heat gun. 🫠 Tried to apply it to my side markers (worse design ever with this car), could not have the wrap stretched enough to follow the curve without loosing it's adherence and uniformity. I wasted a good foot of product trying to wrap two tiny side marker assemblies. The reason I am not leaving 1 star is because when you do have it applied and it did not deform, and it's day time, it does look good. Definitely increasing the stealthy look I was looking for but I will sadly have to remove it all and get something else for the reasons above. ... show more

  • Great option for dry applied film
Size: 12" x 7ft Color: Light Smoke
I bought the light smoke film to lightly tint the taillights on my Edge ST, and I’m very happy with the film. When applied correctly, it was easy to work the air bubbles out and keep it from wrinkling. It also feels like a nice, thick film, so it seems like it should hold up well over time. If your lights have a fairly simple shape, you probably won’t have much trouble installing it. Mine were more difficult than I expected because of all the compound curves. My biggest advice is not to overstretch the film. I had to redo one of my lights because I stretched it too much. It looked fine when I finished, but by the next day, several fingers had started lifting. I also highly recommend using a quality heat gun. I started with a small craft heat gun that did not get hot enough. Switching to a proper heat gun made a huge difference. Just be careful not to overheat the film because it can definitely be scorched. Once the installation is finished, go over the film with a little heat to help lock down the edges. I generally prefer wet-applied films, but that is not always an option. For a dry-applied tint film, this seems like a solid choice. I would definitely use it again. ... show more
