Top Amazon Reviews

  • Great Value
Style Name: Standard
The Izzo Swami Launch Monitor is a compact and effective tool for improving your golf game. Its lightweight design and easy setup make it convenient to use on the driving range or during practice sessions. This launch monitor provides accurate data for understanding your swing and optimizing club selection. The data is displayed instantly allowing for immediate feedback and adjustments. The Swami Launch Monitor is particularly impressive for its affordability compared to other similar devices on the market. While it may lack some advanced features found in higher-end models, its performance and reliability make it an excellent choice for golfers looking to refine their skills without breaking the bank. Whether you're a beginner looking to improve consistency or a seasoned player fine-tuning your technique, the Izzo Swami Launch Monitor offers valuable insights to elevate your game. ... show more

  • The feedback is a good way to adjust your timing.
Style Name: Lite
I didn't need to track my shots, so the lite model was fine for me, although launch angle and club face position would have been nice. I like that part of the display is big, but swing speed and smash could be bigger. The beep is good feedback too. The case is solid, but the book could use some more information about what you're seeing. The tape measure is clumsy and almost useless, but if you measure your shoe length you can step off your distance instead and mark both places on the ground. Setting the device for the club you are using is a little confusing too. W1 for driver seems like it should be for a wedge. I would prefer the device be rechargeable than using batteries. All and all, this device is helpful to improve swing speed and timing so that you have a purpose when on the driving range. ... show more

  • Was not even close to being accurate
Style Name: Standard
Practice golf shots. Not accurate. Shots not visibly the same in distance showed the same on the device.

  • not reliable
Style Name: Lite
For such an attractive compact launch monitor and at a reasonable price one could only hope for a semblance of accuracy. But, not so. Although it is responsive it is too often inaccurate up to 20 yards carry even on middle irons. Also it is cumbersome to change clubs. Sorry to say this is not a smart purchase. Surprising with todays sophisticated technology. ... show more

  • great item to help the golf game
Style Name: Lite
This item is a good to have to know how far your golf ball is hit on the first bounce. If it says 110 yards, then hit that club when you have a 110 yard shot!!

  • High hopes...
Style Name: Standard
Ok, my review is a bit harsh on this, for mainly one reason. Well, two. First, had high hopes for this product. It has all the types of things you'd want to have with you at a driving range - like audio & visual feedback on how far you just hit the ball. Since that's practically impossible at most ranges since they move them forward and back all the time and the flags tend not to move so you really don't know where like 150 yards is. Btw, you can turn off the audio sound too.. so it won't tell you the yards. Comes with the 2 AA batteries to get it up and running and does have a nice carrying case. Kickstand easily pulls out to get it setup on the ground and has a paper tape to give you the 5 feet distance it needs to be behind the ball. Has 4 buttons - two on each side: Power and Setup. And Up / Down for changing club/loft. Also the up/down can reset your swing count. The screen is readable whether indoors or out - which was nice. The audio side is really nice if you did have too much glare. The data you get out of it is: Carry (which is what most want). But also Average and Max over the hitting counts. But then some other details like: Club Speed, Ball Speed (you hear they talk about all the time on golf broadcasts), smash factor and count of swings along with club and loft angle (settable with the arrow keys). I've provided the manual so you can read more about each of these. The two things that I struggled with thus why I took off two stars is first the reset to hit the next shot, 1) was not documented if there was one - normally there should be. And 2) the bigger one was the actual distance being reported. You'll see in my first two images is what the device reported on a 7 iron hit. Reported at 192 yards. Btw, this was not with a full swing, it was indoors in my hitting bay where I have another swing analyzer that I do trust and has been proven to be very accurate, especially compared to how I hit in out on the course. This reading that I had was indicative of a 75% swing with the 7 iron I was using. Definitely did not hit it 192 yards. I did several different tests over time and was struggling to getting an accurate reading. And it was always on the "high" side too. If this was my only tool, then I might love what it was telling me cause it made me feel stronger, but again, there's no way I'm hitting a 3/4 7 iron 192. I'll continue to try this in other environments than my indoor hitting bay, like outdoors on a range and I'll bring my other unit which is battery operated too - for contrast. p.s. My hitting bay has a ton of room between the ball and the screen/net. (docs say it needs at least 8 feet, I have 10 feet.) If things change, I'll update my review. Thus why I did not put this as a 1. Since my testing was only done indoors in my hitting bay. ... show more
