Installed in my 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT. Much better than the old school OEM touchscreen. Boots up quick, connects to my phone in no time and touchscreen is super responsive. Had to purchase a (kinda expensive) wiring harness to keep the steering wheel controls, and was trying to find something to keep my stock rear camera but was unsuccessful after a few attempts so will have to eventually install the camera that came with it. CarPlay works great, ability to play Netflix, Disney+, etc is great for the little ones in the back (just can’t use CarPlay at the same time as using your phone for a hotspot). The ability to adjust the height and angle of the screen is nice. Disconnecting the screen is a little bit if a hassle if you have the screen mounted fairly close to the dash, putting the screen back on isn’t bad, but aligning the wiring pins on the back has to be perfect, accidentally was off by one pin and screen wouldn’t work. The pins themselves are flimsy and done seem to be designed to be unhooked and reattached often, I’m afraid they will bend and break over time, but I also dont really plan on removing the screen much just have been while messing with the rear camera wires and installing unit for steering wheel controls, etc. and maybe if I park the truck somewhere for an extended period. Reached out to customer service about some of the features and they were very quick to reply and helped me figure things out pretty quickly. Overall super happy with my purchase. ... show more

This unit has a very good sound and display. My only complaint would be that the operating instructions supplied with it are minimal and do not tell you how to set many of the functions. Having said that, the response by their technical support has been awesome. Their response to my e-mails has usually been within hours and has always been technically correct. One issue that I encountered was that the automatic dimming of the display did not work when my headlights were turned on. To remedy this I had to go to "Settings-General- backlight control time control" and set it to "OFF" and it worked. I recommend this unit but don't be afraid to contact tech services, I don't believe you will be disappointed. ... show more

Update: So if you plan to use this with Apple CarPlay I wouldn't recommend it. Which is unfortunate. CarPlay is a big reason I purchased. Everything else seems to work great except for that. If you connect an iPhone directly to the deck but don't use CarPlay, audio is crisp, clear, and responsive. However connecting it to CarPlay results in a lag of about 2-3 seconds. It sounds like a small amount but it is enough to disrupt conversations pretty badly. Additionally, the audio quality is not good. It is choppy and breaks up and so does audio from Siri (messages, maps, etc). These all seem to be due to the processing of the Bluetooth data transfers from the phone, to the device, and then processing it though the CarPlay app. All this is even after working with the company support (which is actually very good) and applying a firmware update. FWIW I have also attempted to connect via USB which was weird. ---- Not gonna lie. This was easier than the stereos I used to install as a kid. Granted, I had an OEM to aftermarket harness so I didn't need to individually connect each wire. Basically plug-n-play. I will likely update this in the near future as I get everything completely installed and cables run, but so far it's pretty great. So far though, Apple Car Play just worked OOB. I was able to map my steering wheel controls without any additional connectors or CAMBUS connected. Left to do is run the mic and camera. All in all, pretty dang impressed. To be continued.... UPDATE: So CarPlay seems a little finicky. I haven’t had the chance to install and run the noice canceling mic yet, but talking in the phone there is a noticeable lag of 3-5 seconds. I have the 4 core version so I’m not sure if it’s the processing power or what. Will update. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Initially I was skeptical about the brand but I really liked the features it advertised. I bought the 8core because I figured it would help speed things up in the wireless department. I’m more then happy with the product. Built in mic, wireless apple car play. Comes with many extras like alternate mic and back up camera, Wi-Fi, GPS antenna. I think overall I bought a better product then some of the name brand units like boss and pioneer. The display is bright and responsive and the call has no lag time. Settings are easy to adjust and navigating the menus are simple. Would recommend 100% ... show more

Easy installation. Instructions were ok. For the first 2 weeks it worked well. Slowly after that almost daily things would stop operating. First thing was a loud static noise on certain radio stations if turned on for over 15 minutes. Next the connectivity of Android auto was extremely sporadic. Final straw was when it went haywire for about 10 seconds. After that I could not access settings, connect or radio. Tried pushing in reset button. It was actually just a sticker over a blank hole. Now I am waiting to receive my refund. I will not recommend. ... show more

I highly recommend this head unit if you're running 2 amps. I have a 4 channel Fosgate and a 1000 watt monoblock for 2 Fosgate 12s. This unit has a LOT more fine tuning than they let on. Basically, all of the settings on the amps...the frequency and everything can be set by this head unit. The 21 band EQ has plenty of presets and every channel can be custom tuned so the speakers won't clip. I had a double din Pioneer before this one and paid $600 for it. I actually prefer this unit even though the wattage for the presets is considerably lower. To be honest though...I barely notice a difference. Best day present I've gotten in a while. ... show more
