This stool seems much sturdier than my old stool. The use of metal bolts rather than wood screws is part of the reason. Also, the legs are anchored with 2 separate bolts to cross pieces (braces) of wood which provides additional support for the legs which extend to the floor at an angle. The only minor concern is the fabric on the top of the chair are still wrinkled a bit in a couple of places - possibly due to the packing for shipment. This is a good sturdy stool. I am using it with a desk I bought to use as a vanity in my bathroom. It is comfortable and fits my purpose perfectly. It was simple to put together and I did it in less than 5 minutes. The price seems a little high but I am satisfied with the stool.

The stool came very quickly and was a snap to put together. After assembly, I noticed how hefty the stool actually is. It’s a real beauty and my wife loves it in her bathroom vanity. I would highly recommend this one if you’re looking.

I purchased these for my guest bedrooms so that guests would have a seat to put on pants or shoes. All in all, a nice and tidy little bench and perfect for my needs. HOWEVER....Originally ordered the "brown" but it was definitely cherry so started a return and ordered 2 more in white. My husband personally took the box to the recommended shipping store. The vendor said he/she did not receive and never credited my credit card. Wellll....that's the end of that vendor for me!!! ... show more
