The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: The seller resolved the issue for the top drawer and we are happy with the product. The main issue to be aware of is that the design of the drawer rails as mentioned in the original review below. --------------------------------------------------------- We planned to use this product in our Dining Room. It is almost a "miniature" size, but works for our needs to store light-weight items such as napkins, place-mats, recipes, etc. What we like about it: Easy to assemble; mid-century look/design, small/almost miniature design (reduced size) works for us. What we don't like: Defective railing won't allow top drawer to fit and close properly. Tried all 3 identically sized drawers and none would work. Also don't like the railing design because drawer can easily come out like ones used on a storage cube. It doesn't have traditional slider rails in metal or plastic. Also, be aware that the veneer wood grain is a film type material. We are willing to live with this , however, but you should be aware of it. I was wary because I knew this wasn't going to be any super high quality piece, at that price. But it was exactly the right size for the hallway - I needed it to have legs because it was going to be over the cold air return. And I needed it to be shallow. And I wanted some closed shelves and drawers. Not so easy to find. So I took a chance on this, and am glad I did. The back is thin, but it's NOT cardboard. YAY! There are many parts, but directions are clear and easy to follow. It took me about 1.5 hrs, but I went slowly and carefully. I'm a 65 yr old woman, and I had a 6 yr old "helping me." When it's all put together, it looks very nice and works fine. It DOES have drawer stops. Looks like a more expensive piece than it is, if it isn't inspected too closely. needed shallow and short storage furniture to go along the hallway in front of my bedroom, but it took forever to find something that would fit and look nice while still being useful (and not cost a fortune!). finally decided to take a gamble and order 2 of these sideboards to be placed side by side. there are no protruding edges on the sides, so they sit flush against each other and look fine together. the quality is pretty good and the storage space is just what i needed, so i am overall very pleased with the finished product. i would just dock half a star for the same issue the other reviews mentioned about the screws for the magnet being too short (we ended up substituting in the longer screws and skipped the step for anchoring the furniture to the wall) and the drawers being secured only by mini wooden dowels (metal pegs would have been better). ... show more

Haven’t put it together yet. Not sure I want to. Eight. Million. Pieces. Just when I thought I got the last piece out of the box, I found a million more. It was like a clown car. Now I have a pile of pieces-parts in my living room that I don’t want to put it together. Update: put it together. Wasn’t that hard afterall. Pretty and sturdy. Only problem is the drawers. No stops, so pull them out slowly to avoid having them fly out and land on your toes, contents and all. ... show more

The item was fairly easy to assemble. However, there are a few design flaws. The drawers hang down when you open them because the track is only on the outer part of the drawers and doesn’t have a center track. The magnetic strip was slightly off so you have to lift the door a tad to get it to stay connected to the strip. Aside from those small inconveniences I was a little disappointed about the scuffs it came out of the box with. Although, they are small, it does depreciate the cosmetic appeal of it. This cabinet was delivered yesterday and I put it together today. The assembly wasn’t too difficult but then I have experience assembling cabinets. The hardest part was hanging the door with the hinges. I really could’ve used extra hands for that. But, I got it done. I bought this cabinet because I hate the look of clutter and now I can put things in drawers and behind the door and not have to see them. It doesn’t look like the most expensive piece of furniture but it also doesn’t look cheap. I like the fact that it’s up on legs so that I can vacuum under it. It’s replacing an end table. I would definitely recommend looking at the parts list and making sure that everything you need is there. Are use my screw gun which makes it a lot easier on the fingers. If you do use a screw gun or a drill just be sure not to over tighten things because that can end up cracking the particleboard. It took me about an hour and a half and like I said I did it myself. Make sure you look at the instructions, they’re all in picture form. At the end when you put the drawers in make sure you put the wooden dowels where they show you or your drawer will completely pull out. The dowels act as stops for the drawers. ... show more

This is a very nice and sturdy cabinet and it fits perfectly where I need it. It was pretty simple to put together. Overall it seems to be decent quality for the price, but the drawers are an issue for me. They don’t have a track or anything holding them in place. Since they aren’t very deep, it is very easy to pull them out too far and onto your feet. They will not support themselves, so any time you have one open, you have to hold onto it with one hand or it will fall out. This is a big functional bummer for me. ... show more
