We bought this bed to host guests right after we moved into our home. It was a couple and their 1 yr old on the queen size mattress. I was concerned about the auto air pump being too loud and waking the baby, but they said it was quiet and didn’t disturb them at all. Bought two of the beds for camping. They are super easy to set up and we're quite comfortable. They will inflate to replace any lost air so they never feel too soft and the settings are adjustable for firmness to allow for a good night's sleep. Taking down was easy also. Make sure to tuck in the vinyl as it deflates so bed will fit nicely written zipped. The storage cover stays attached to the bed when inflated so when you're ready to deflate, plug it in, set to deflate, push the vinyl down slightly as it deflates, push the end up and zip up cover. The roller bag the bed is stored within remains attached when you unzip it. Just plug the bed in, select the firmness and turn the selector knob to "Inflate" and walk away. It just handles everything from then on. Guests said the "maintain" pump did not wake them if it inflated during the night. The mattress is comfortable. I did use an extra thick pillow top mattress pad because I thought the mattress was too thin. When it's time to deflate just turn the selector and the bed folds up on its own. I did kind of help guide the mattress to be certain it deflated, don't think I really needed to though. Worked well for guests and stores quickly, takes up space about the size of a large cooler or suitcase. ... show more

The setup and teardown is great. Unfortunately it is not very comfortable. The mattress itself is very rough, we ended up needing to put a mattress topper on it to smooth it out.

    • Amazing Bed with Frame!

This bed far exceeds any inflatable bed I have ever seen or used. It has a solid ridged frame that unfolds itself as the bed inflates. Open its case, plug it in, s.et the desired firmness and in less than 3 minutes the bed is unfolded and ready to use. To reverse the process just change the setting to deflate and the bed puts itself away. The roller case makes the bed easy to store and easy to move.     • Doesn't lay flat when inflated!

Thought this was going to be such a great bed since it was easy to set up. That part was truly a breeze but the reason for the 1 star is because once opened and inflated it would not lay flat. It was in a U shape even with all of the bedding on it. Also, you cannot tuck the end of the bedding under the mattress at all. It must drape over the end which is not the best esthetic appearance. I was so dissapointed with both issues that I would have to say that I would not recommend this product for purchase. Keep looking if you want something that lays flat and can be made like typical bedding. ... show more

This thing inflated in 2 minutes flat! Fair warning: it's loud, like a leaf blower. But once inflated, the motor that keeps it from deflating while you sleep is whisper quiet. In fact, I've never been able to hear it! The surface takes a little getting used to, but it's comfortable. Actually, we've replaced our regular bed with this one. Haven't deflated it yet so I can't speak to how easy that is, but I'll update this review when I do. Well worth the price. ... show more

    • It’s remarkable, but not fully automatic.

First, the quiet “secondary built-in pump”, is not quiet. Imagine a can opener, compared to a cheap garbage disposal. That’s the different between the secondary and main motor. However, I slept one night this, and never heard it go off. I watched TV for about an hour before going to sleep. The motor didn’t turn on during TV time, and if it went off during the night, I didn’t hear it. It did go off once I got out of bed. What’s not automatic? Inflating: When the automatic inflate turned off, the legs weren’t all touching the floor. I had push the legs down and bit, and then I manually turned the knob to “Inflate” to get it fully inflate. I then over-inflated the mattress (a bit), just to be sure. Deflating: As other mentioned, you have tuck in the legs I (back to front), to ensure all the air goes out. You push down on the retracting legs, in-time with the air going out. With all of the mattress tucked and deflated under the legs, it zipped up easily back into its rolling cart. Felt easier than standard air mattresses. Best to practice inflating and deflating, before you need to do it on a time crunch. I’m glad I did. Comfort: I used a 2inch memory foam pad, a 1inch pillowy topper, and set the mattress to firm. It was terrific and it was sturdy. I was not expects sturdy, but I got. There’s a decent bounce to it, as if it had spring. Read: I think having sex on this, using a pad and topper, would be comparable to a hybrid mattress like Casper or Lucid. Noticed a slight roll to the center. Two sleepers might find that awkward, if they don’t like each other. ... show more
