A little hard to stomach the $250 price tag on this thing for such a small unit but I think what you're really paying for here is the upgraded cooling that does not involve a compressor or a vibration. And is ultimately more efficient and more reliable. Personally, I wanted something small Didn't necessarily get down to fridge temps but could keep things at a constant uniform 60 degrees throughout.... for peptides. This fit the bill perfectly. So while I'm not using it for wine, I will say that this has a second useful purpose and that would be very precise and constant temperature for medical equipment or anything else you want to keep at a consistent temperature below room temp. Given that use case and limited need to put things in here, the frustratingly small size actually becomes a value add for the space savings and having enough for personal needs with the aforementioned reasons. So I would say jury is still out on the value given the cost, maybe a hung jury? But it looks fantastic and it does exactly what I want. So for me it's perfect. Great wine cooler for if you have a smaller space. The cooler is slim but can still hold 12 bottles! I like the sleek modern look of the cooler and the wooden shelves inside. This 12 bottle cooler is fantastic! It looks good and has a great lighting system as well as q great temperature control. It not only functions as a wind cooler but with five shelves, we can include soda for our kids. I did have to take out one shelf for the rather large bottle of Pina Colada. That is temporary.
