These polyurethane faux leather boots look pretty good and close to real leather at a glance. They fit easily under some boot cut jeans and are very fashionable. This is the first pair of faux leather boots I've ever had, and the first thing I noticed is the fit was a bit loose compared to what I'm used to compared to genuine leather boots I've owned before. This may be because real leather will relax and stretch over time to form to the shape of your foot and faux leather usually does not. I have a slim and narrow foot and the boot moves around while shaking or walking a little, but I ordered my typical size and the length is just right, but it feels like what a wide boot feels like when I put them on. But I'm getting some thick insoles for them so this should help alleviate this issue. I also noticed that the sole is very flexible and can twist which I've never seen in a cowboy style boot before, I'm used to something more rigid. At first this was something I wasn't fond of, but after wearing them for a while I found that they became rather comfortable to wear while walking about. There is virtually no arch, so if you prefer arch support you'll need some insoles, which I have already ordered. They look very nice, and the stitching is well done and a typical cowboy boot design. They came with a nice shine to them and the material is also very flexible. While they won't have the durability of genuine leather boots, they also don't share the price. These boots are pretty good so far and I like the way they wear and feel and will be better after I get some insoles. ... show more

For the overall price, these aren't bad. I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 so ordered an 11 in these to be safe. The front is more narrow then I thought it would be and I don't have wide feet at all. My issue is although they fit, the shape of them allows your heel to come up as you are walking, so they don't conform to or stay on your foot as you walk. Not at all comfortable to walk in and unstable. I think it has to do with the shape of them in the ankle area but I am not sure how to describe it better. Appearance wise, they do have an odd smell that hopefully will go away, and the material isn't the best looking. For the price though I am not surprised; they are sub-$100 boots. Overall they aren't bad but I am concerned about any long term wear and/or losing balance walking because of how the slide up as you take steps. ... show more

I think these boots are worth what you’ll pay for them. The synthetic material looks very similar to leather and would certainly pass , worn with jeans. These boots, unlike leather boots, will not conform to your foot over time. The fit may be good for you when you receive them, or when you try adding an insole or heavier socks or they might not be comfortable no matter what. Walking around you’ll notice unusual creases and folds move across the top of the boots as you walk. There is also something about the stiffness or lack of stiffness of the sole that makes walking in these boots fell kind of awkward. All the workmanship is fine and no indication of anything sloppy with the manufacturing. If you don’t expect a real leather boot, this could work for you. ... show more
