There's a lot of mattress ads going around about being certified to accommodate those up to 600lbs. Big Fig is one. This mattress completely blows the more expensive brand name ones out of the water. As such, I do not recommend this ultra thick mattress for anyone under 200lbs. Even with a mattress topper, if you weigh under 200lbs, you will not sink down. It really does take 48 hours for it to fully expand. You'll hit 85% within the first hour or two, but don't be surprised if one corner appears higher than the other. I believe actually sleeping on it helps speed up the process. After the second day I was able to zip up the last bit of the mattress protector. Speaking of which, slide it into a protector while it's inflating. Delivery was very fast and came in on an Amazon box truck. It is twice the weight of other mattress in a box brands. So definitely a 2 person job. Only 1 negative Traditional mattresses on box frames are not as tall/thick as this one. I recommend either a platform bed or custom height bed due to the size. I'm 6ft tall and as a woman I still have to get on my tippy toes to get up high enough. This makes it a terrible seat while getting dressed or putting on shoes. Mattress is too thick for any electronic moving base bed, don't even attempt. Your motor will break trying to bend such a big mattress. I personally had a 10k dollar sleep number before this and honestly never used the moving base so a flat stationary bed is best for me. I will only purchase from this seller in the future. Amazing quality yet affordable price.

As a person with very limited income, I did a bunch of looking and needed a good mattress for the best price I could find, within reason. Like so many other folks, I of course hesitate to purchase a bed without first trying it, and the 100-night trial of this mattress is a huge positive. I actually contacted another seller/manufacturer to inquire about the possibility of more than a 30-day period and although I thanked them for responding, they pretty defiantly refused anything more, quoting their "policy" to me. Obviously they didn't want my business, and probably not yours, either. I've had my new 14" IULULU queen mattress for about a month, and my back pain is finally getting better - no kidding. I always raise an eyebrow at all those reviewers who claim something like this but for me, it's working fantastically! It's so comfortable that I plop down at night and don't want to move, and don't want to move in the morning, either! Should the quality degrade at a rate which ends up being disappointing, I'll update. To this point, I'm very glad I grabbed this while the price is competitive, and still has the awesome 100-day trial. Should you purchase, my suggestion/experience is that, even though it's been very comfortable for me right away, it's taken almost a month for my body to react. Love this thing! Hope this helps. r-

Like many of us, I hate buying mattresses online. The reviews are all over the place, everyone has a different opinion of plush, pain relief, comfort etc... Some people are compensated for their review, so you don't know if they are being bias or not. I will give you my honest, unbiased, non-compensated opinion on this mattress. First, this mattress is VERY firm. There is no plushness about it. It is very sturdy from end to end. There is no excessive sagging when you sit on the edge, it is very supportive. Second, having said that, this mattress, though firm, does, for me (230lb athletic build), provide support when I sleep on my stomach or back. I don't need to use a pillow when in these positions. However, when I sleep on my side, the bed is too firm and I develop a little hip discomfort after a few hours. I would compare sleeping on this mattress to sleeping on a padded floor. You are comfortable but as soon you change positions you can momentarily feel the hardness of the floor. This will cause you to toss and turn a little (I did). This mattress might be ideal for a bigger person who can apply more pressure to the foam, therefore, making it a little plusher. At first, I didn't like the mattress. Even though I would rather have too firm compared to saggy and soft, It is too firm. To remedy the firmness, I went to Costco and purchased the Temper-pedic Serenity 3-inch foam mattress topper. It is a game changer. The mattress now has plushness and firmness and I'm enjoying some great night's sleep. This worked for me because the mattress was pretty much free because I used my Prime reward points. So spending a little more for a topper wasn't a big deal to have a mattress that I now like and think will last awhile. I did this same set-up for the Zinus I bought from Amazon a few years back (it isn't as firm as this one). If I had to buy the mattress outright, then invest in a topper, I'd probably look to send it back and invest in a higher end mattress.
